My 1 year old loves this helmet! Its not super hard and it seems like it protects. It did however dent the 1st time we dropped it. The ears are squishy which adds to the cuteness factor. She is 1 with a big head and it fit perfectly.

This hello kitty helmet looks adorable on my 3 yo and she loves wearing it. I wish the quality was better. The white vinyl outer shell doesn’t meet the edge of interior foam shell 3/4 of the way around which means it may begin to peel off sooner than later. The yellow nose is just a sticker that can already be easily removed, may have to find a new nose replacement soon. The ears are a rubbery material that is already changing after light use of a couple hours a week for the last 2 months. Only time will tell how this helmet holds up. ... show more

We purchased the 5-8 year old one first and it is as adorable in the picture as it is in person. I was pleased with the fact that it was built in the USA Or local and imported parts. However, it was not even close to being slightly larger than our child’s head. It almost fits my adult head. Measured her head as well before we ordered. We returned for the 2-5 year old size and it fits much better. My only complaint about The smaller size is it is made in China and it smells horrible. We’ve been leaving it out in the sun and that seems to help, but wow whatever they packaged or treated it with is so fragrant. Otherwise if either fit your child’s head, they are both extremely sturdy and well made. Just wish it all came from the USA. ... show more

This helmet is too cute. Our (almost) 3 year old loves it and even wanted to wear it to bed for the first few nights after we received it! It fits well, adjusts easily and I feel good knowing it's a Bell product because they know what they are doing with manufacturing helmets! We are in Georgia, so when it's hot ,she gets a little sweaty in the helmet, but that's to be expected and worth it for the protection. There are holes for breathability, but you can only do so much. I read other reviews concerned about stickers peeling off of the helmet, I think the decals are great and don't look like they would peel off easily to me. I would definitely buy again and think it's a great value for the price! ... show more
