Good solid construction. Been sleeping with these on for a couple months now and nothing has broken yet. Sound quality is decent for the price point. Volume is good enough for what I need it for. It's not a base thumping headset so if that is what you want you will need to look at something else. Once these are in your ears it deadens sounds from around you fairly well but these are not passive or active noise cancellation ear buds so if that is what you want to get you will need to spend more money. I /hate/ doing chores so I like to get on the phone with a friend while I put things away, and just talk about whatever comes up. So I have a small pouch for my phone and I put the phone in the pouch upside down, with these earbuds plugged in, and I use Discord voice while I do my chores. My friends can hear me fine, I can hear them crystal clear, in fact, even at the softest volume, my friends come across fairly loud. These earbuds would work well for a hearing impaired person. The only person I have talked to that can't hear me with the earbuds is a person who is significantly hearing impaired, they said I sound garbled. I got this headset for phone calls and zoom meetings on my phone & iPad, not for music. So far so good (though I'm a little worried having read reviews from some who said they quit working after a short time). My hearing is poor and I can hear better with it, and the people I'm talking to also say I sound clearer than when using the speaker. The weird thing is that my voice doesn't play through the ear buds the way most headsets do, so when I'm talking it sounds to me like I have my fingers in my ears. ... show more

The cables seem strong, which is a nice benefit over standard Apple EarPods. However, I have to shove the headphone so far in my ear that it actually hurts all day now, and there is absolutely no bass. Even after shoving the headphone deep into my skull, it still falls out as soon as I start walking.     • Simply tangle-free, finally!

I like having wired headphones for backup when my wireless ones are dead or I can’t find them. However, the cord hassle drives me nuts pulling them tangled out of my purse. Seriously, I’m pissed when my phone is ringing and all I want is to pull my headphones out, plug, and talk. Enter the Belkin tangle-free headphones. Game changer! They come with three different silicone earpiece sizes (I have small ears so this was surprisingly a great feature!). I didn’t realize how much the proper earpiece size would improve the experience for me. On to the dirty details: the cord is flat, not round and sticky. So, it never gets tangled in a tight knot even when I’m pulling it out of the depths of my purse. This alone would’ve sold me on these headphones. Do they come out perfectly? No, but I stuffed them in there with no care and I can pull them out and straighten them for immediate use in less than 5 seconds. To make me love them even more, they are proper noise canceling headphones. I put them in chat away and take them out to find there’s loud construction going on outside. Couldn’t hear a thing with them in! The microphone quality is clutch as well. I’ve had numerous people ask me on calls what Headset I’m using because the sound quality is so good. They’ve become my go to for work calls. Another feature I really like over any of the wireless headsets I have is the volume controls on the cable. I find I forget the buttons on my wireless ones or the buttons aren’t easy to press when I’m wearing them which is annoying. The control feature on the Belkin is perfect - I can easily change the volume and there’s tactile raised bumps so I know where to press. It also lets me mute, hang up the call, or go to the next song. It’s a feature I didn’t think I’d care about and didn’t weigh into my purchase decision until I got them and it simply works perfectly and easily. I bought these in 2021 for $28. I've used them a few times a week, never in any extreme scenarios. They sound okay, not the best sounding cheap headphones I've had but certainly not the worst. Exactly 1.5 years later, the sound started to cut out and the inline controls stopped working. I was hoping to get a bit more life out of these headphones. These headphones sound great, but unfortunately they won't stay in my ears so they don't actually work as headphones unless I'm sitting still. Even the smallest tips for the earbuds are too big to fit into my ear canal (my ears are normal sized as far as I know), and there's no other part of the earbud that makes contact with the ear so there's no mechanism to hold them in place. The scant friction of the buds is enough if I'm sitting stilll, but if I walk they simply fall out after 5-10 seconds ... show more
