I’ve used the Belkin OpenFit earphones now cooking, hiking, and mountain biking with a variety of content: conference calls, audio books and music. Belkin audio is the real deal! First and foremost, the audio is incredible from these earphones. I am very familiar with Shokz and Oladance as I bought these competitors as an early adopter. My qualifications to judge the audio are that I’m an industry-trained critical listener and audiophile for over 20 years now. Hands down the Belkin sweeps the competition. They sound great at all volumes and the frequency response is beautifully balanced for music listening. The bass extension is surprisingly good for an open-ear product. In bass extension (low bass) the Belkin easily beats the competition. The earphones are comfortable and lightweight. They play surprisingly well with sunglasses (and by extension regular glasses). They were comfortable for an over two hour mountain ride and stayed in place over rugged technical downhills. They don’t seem to have a bunch of fussy adjustments that are going to break, just a simple earhook and the product sits a bit above the ear canal. I’ve tried to use in-ear earphones/earbuds for mountain biking, snowboarding and hiking over the years and have always rejected the use as too dangerous (little awareness of surroundings). Even with “hear through” products, I felt too isolated from the surroundings. Again, it just felt unsafe and I always discontinued using the product within 15 minutes. Not so with the Belkin open-ear earphones. So, so usable and truly SAFE: you can have a conversation with other hikers or your companion bikers without stopping the music. I used them with content playing (at about 50% volume) for the entire duration of a couple hour mountain bike ride and a few hikes. This is a seriously well sorted out product! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Update 09/25/2024: After a month of using these earbuds, I’ve decided to lower my rating from five stars to three for the following reasons: The touch controls on these are not very responsive. For example, you’re supposed to be able to activate Siri by holding two fingers on the earbud for two seconds, but this works inconsistently—sometimes it activates, sometimes it doesn’t. Additionally, when I’m outdoors and engaged in some activity, the Bluetooth signal frequently cuts out, and I’m not sure why. My guess is that it could be due to wind or similar interference. Overall, I’m satisfied with the headphones as they serve my purpose. I can comfortably use them for calls and listening to music, and the sound quality is good. However, I wouldn’t recommend these headphones to people who are looking for something to use during physical activities or sports. In general, the product feels unfinished and underdeveloped, although the idea behind it is great. Initial review: In my review, I want to write about my first impression of the Belkin Sound Form ClearFit Open-Ear Wireless Earbuds. I cannot wear regular in-ear earbuds because they cause ringing in my ears, that’s why I decided to try this open ear concept. First, regarding the comfort of wearing them, the earbuds are lightweight, sit comfortably on the ear, and don’t interfere when worn with glasses. I mainly tried them for listening to music and audiobooks, as well as for phone calls. The sound quality is good. When making phone calls, people on the other end could hear me clearly. The earbuds connected without any issues to my iPhone 12 and iPad, yes they can connect to 2 devices simultaneously. The package includes a convenient case for storage and charging, as well as USB-C to USB-A charging cable. Controls are conveniently located on the earbuds themselves. The manufacturer claims these earbuds are IPX5 sweat and water resistant. The earbuds are made in Vietnam and have a 2-year warranty. Love these they have great sound quality. They connect easily and are functional. Great value for what you pay. I loved them so much I got them for my kids and the fit wasn’t the greatest. Great sound but not functional. I should have paid attention, I didn’t know that these don’t fit IN your ear. They fit OUTSIDE your ear. I don’t know how people get these to stay in your ear! If I even shake my head, they fall out! How does anyone run with these? They have to be constantly adjusted and because of that, the sound turns on and off as the buttons are so sensitive !!
