This is a well made product but the clip does not stay attached to the top of the monitor. The monitor is thin and wiggles so it is easy for the unit to fall from it. If we had a monitor with the rim the same width as the unit (like the top of a picture frame), it would be a more secure fit.

Works as advertised. Nice solid feel. Have used with both phone orientations with no problems. Have also used on a tripod. Phone will fall off if bumped hard, but stable-enough under most conditions.

    • Terrible tolerances on the hinges
While functional, the hinges are very loose and can move a few degrees before catching. This causes the camera placement to be different every time you use it. Your phone will swing up and down enough to sometimes lose your face in the picture.

The best accessory for FaceTime on Apple TV coming with iOS 17. Maybe the only accessory. I think it will be compatible with most TVs. Magesafe does a good job. The material quality is very good. It does not damage the TV in any way.

I originally bought this for FaceTime on my Apple TV 4K. I was disappointed when I realized it wouldn’t mount to my TV the way I wanted. I can usually find another purpose for tech but even trying this for the Continuity Camera feature on my personal and work Macs seemed redundant.

The build quality is surprisingly good for a Belkin product. I've been using one of these for a few months now and it's perfect. Each hinge stays where you put it and the magnet seems about twice as strong is Apple's stock magnet. As you continue to read reviews you'll see many complaining that it won't "sit flush". It isn't meant to. Not the way they're depicting. This mount does hit perfectly flat and is very stable thanx to both the previously mentioned hinges and the rubberized skin of the stand. This adapter sits on the top of my monitor with the phone attached by the MagSafe. It doesn't feel like a good solid attachment - very sketchy. Plus the phone sits way behind the display - I'm guessing an inch or more. I was able to 3D print a holder that puts the phone in front of the display and is much more secure.
