This is a must have accessory for those with an Apple Pen. Although there are alternatives, a lot of them are soft covers and don't really provide "bend" protection. Pros: Functionality - This is a carrying case with the ability to display the pen and have it ready to use. Features and design - I am surprised on how well design this product is. There is an internal compartment were you can add one of the stylus points (apple pen comes with two), the charger link, and a end cap to protect the lighting adaptor. The inside of the lid is lined with soft material to not scratch or damage the pen. Lid is also magnetic and keeps things in place. Cons: For being a case, the cost is pretty high. I recently became an Apple Pencil owner and within days I cannot live without it. It has become a crucial part of my work, school, and home life. I've seen what happens to one without a case, as my daughter has been thru two herself and loses the cap (almost immediately), and the tips break. I decided that I needed to get something to protect it when in transit between home, work, and school. I found this initially at Best Buy for around $35 but decided to look on Amazon before purchasing there. I was happy to find it on Amazon for $5 cheaper. Which isn't a lot, but definitely worth it. Now, much like my Pencil, the case is never that out of reach from me. Some of the best functions; the hideaway compartment for your extra tip, charge adapter, and cap. The holding function that keeps the Pencil upright and insight. The latter keeps it from rolling around your desk and getting dropped on the floor. What I would change? Maybe make the pencil cavity a slight bit larger so you can have a protective gel on the Pencil itself. ... show more

This case is wonderful. I was surprised by the quality as soon as I opened the package. I did not expect it to be as nice as it is for the price. I like that the case has a place for the tiny pieces that come with the pencil, and that it has a cover to keep those pieces from falling out. The cover of the whole case is magnetic and holds tightly. It’s very hard, so no worries when I put it in my bag. It’s a little bulky, but I think the bulk adds to the security and safety of the pencil. The pencil holder is a cool feature I didn’t expect to use, but it turns out it is very handy. Not worth the FULL price, but it's a great product

I love this carrying case and I definitely loved the price I got it for (under $15). It is very sleek and has small compartments for everything I would need for the apple pencil (minus a slot or section for the wire, but that's okay). It isn't worth 5 stars yet because the slots for the pen cap makes it a little hard to take out. I would have to flip the case upside down for the cap to fall out. Also, the lid attracts a lot of dust/lint because of the kind of material it's made of. It's not a big deal most of the time, but there are several times, where it got overwhelmingly dusty/linty and I find myself having to rub off the dust/lint. Extremely happy I stumbled across this product. Keeps my apple pencil protected and in place. Must Have Accessory for Gen 1 Apple Pencil

The Gen 1 Apple Pencil is an excellent little stylus, but was clearly an afterthought. Charging and storing the pencil is awkward and cumbersome. Even with an iPad case with a pencil slot, the charging cap is painfully easy to lose, as is the charging adapter if you don’t want to have the pencil sticking awkwardly out of your tablet. This case addresses all of those issues with a secure place to store your pencil and more crucially it’s accessories. It also acts as a pen stand to address the fact that the pencil is very good at rolling on any slightly uneven surface straight off said surface. I use it at home mostly but it is quite convenient to toss in a back pack in the rare event I want to draw on the go. If you have a gen 1 Apple Pencil I have to say there is no reason not to own this accessory as well. ... show more

Wonderful functional case

I really love this case. I like how the inside of the lid is soft so the pencil doesn’t jar around inside. I also love that the compartments for the small parts has a sliding lid so nothing comes out even if the lid were to pop open. (It hasn’t.) it’s not the slimist case but that doesn’t bother me as it still slips easily into either my book bag or my laptop sleeve I bought for my iPad. The magnet that holds the lid seems fairly strong as well. Love that you can put the pencil standing up when you walk away. My one con is that the hole the pencil sits in is almost perfectly the same shape. Excellent to keep it in place but if you put any accessories on your pencil, like a grip or cap keeper, it will no longer fit in the case. So that’s the one con to me. ... show more

As with other Belkin products I've bought in the past, this one is no different. Sleek and feels very sturdy/durable. I got this for Apple Pencil which I've owned for a while now but never had anywhere to store it safely which had always been a problem for me when I traveled. (I used to put it inside my make-up case with my brushes lol). I haven't traveled in a while but will start to again this year but now I can safely bring it along without worrying about damaging it or losing the smaller parts which always worried me. I sometimes forget where I store the charger (the small attachment) even when I'm at home. At least now I know for sure where it is whenever I need to use it. I was actually between buying this one and another simpler pencil holder that I liked which was more flexible. But after reading the experience of other Apple Pencil owners, I figured this one would be the best choice simply because of how sturdy it is. I never thought about the risk of putting the Pencil in a soft case vs a hard one but they do have a point when they say its less likely to break/get damaged when stored in a hard case. Also a pleasant surprise is the pen stand. This was a feature I wasn't really interested in when I bought this case and thought it was unnecessary. Super thoughtful, easy-to-use protective carrying case. I use the iPad a lot with the stylus. I'd been looking for another holder to tile the iPad up gently for writing; this case crosswise under the top does it perfectly and offers the pen holder to the side.
