🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

Based on the customer reviews, this scope delivers a good performance, despite being low-cost. Users like the crisp optics and the choice of illumination. Sturdiness, good battery life, clear sight, and additional features like Picatinny Rail Mounts are other major positives. However, some users reported design flaws and excess weight - the scope is not ideal for everyone, particularly meticulous, heavy-duty users.

Pros

  • 👁‍🗨 Clear, crisp optics with RGB illumination
  • 💪 Durable and able to withstand recoil
  • 🔋 Good battery life
  • 🔵 Additional features like Picatinny Rail Mounts

Cons

  • ⚖️ Considered heavy by some users
  • 💼 Editions in the scope’s design, like the forward pin and excess aluminum, aren't appreciated by some
  • 🔝 The top alignment scope brings limited utility

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a budget-friendly scope with good functionality and acceptable durability, this one is worth considering. However, if you're a heavy-duty user or someone very particular about design and weight, you might want to explore other options.

  • This is a dope ass 4x scope I really love it!
Color: Black
I need to learn how to train my eye for it but man the value the craftsmanship the absolute heft of it is just proof that it's durable and reliable, try not to knock it around for you'll need to realign it.

  • Very good scope
Color: Black
This scope is very good for the price. I have bought 3 of these so far. With no issues. They are very easy to set up. They hold the zero very well, have put a lot of rounds through my weapons. Which I have had no problems. So I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

  • Great scope for the fantastic price
Color: Black
I have not had a chance to zero this scope nor check to see if it hold zero well. This review is just about the impression of the product's function, design and quality of manufacture. It comes paded wrapped in a sturdy box with flip up lense covers, intructions, cleaning cloth and the battery already in the scope battery compartment. It is of all metal construction except the removeable mense covers. The optics are clear and and sharp when properly ajdusted. Eye relief is adequate. The reticle and its illumination is distince and clear. The brightness of the lighted reticle should cover all all of intensity settings of target brightness for me. I did not experience any internal fog going on from cold to hot surrpindings. Elevation and widage adjisted correctly. Power and parallax rings are a bit tight to twist at first until worked in but afterwards are fine with no residu or milling burrs in thread grinding when turned. Diopter works and has good range of adjistment. Parallax ring adjusts to good approxamation of range. Great item for the price so far! ... show more

  • I'm REALLY impressed!
Color: Black
I bought this scope as a throw-away... Just to see if I like the style of scope before I bought a "real" one. I have no plans to buy the "real" one now! I'm seriously impressed! I have scopes from Leopold, Redfield and Nikon of other guns I own, so I know what real quality is, and didn't have high expectations for this one. Didn't really have ANY expectations, to be honest! I just wanted to see if I liked this style without spending a fortune. I mounted the scope on my AR, and was nearly zero'ed out of the box, which is pure luck, but I have not TOUCHED the adjustment since! Several hundred rounds since, and it's just perfect. If it was mounted on a shotgun, firing slugs or some rifle with heavier recoil, maybe it wouldn't hold it's zero so well, but on a .223/5.56, it's more than I hoped for at this price. The illuminated reticle draws very little power. Accidentally leaving it on overnight is not a death sentence to the battery. I've done that and had the battery still last quite a while. The scope is perfectly usable as a "regular" non-lighted scope with the light off, so losing a battery or other light/electrical failure doesn't mean you have no aimpoint. Takes fairly common CR2032 button batteries that are easy to change, they are inside the big top knob that adjusts the color and brightness of the reticle. The top of the knob screws out and the battery lays beneath it, right on top. If I had to make one negative comment... I would like it if the backup sights on the top of the scope were removable. I'd rather use a different style of backup sight, and they are pretty big in relationship to a pretty small optic. They really make the scope have a much higher profile, all for just a backup sight with a VERY short sight radius. I'm going to buy another one, no doubt about it! ... show more

  • Too many downsides.
Color: Black
First off, I have very limited experience with optics. Having an astigmatism I'm looking now for a prism based platform as opposed to the red dots I've been using. The illumination and choice of RGB is very nice. Super crisp and the dioptic is wizza keen. A negative is no end caps. I've returned this device for two big reasons. The main one being the forward pin is indeed turned flat so as not to make contact with the picatinny rail slot it sits over-WTF? I thought it was a quality control issue till I read a previous poster who upon getting a replacement for the same reason-discovered it was intentional. Not to mention I've never encountered anything that attaches to a picatinny that didn't have loose/removable pins. These are pressed firmly and NOT coming out. This piece weighs a tad over 16 oz and not having a second pin to capture a slot, to my mind, invites a wandering zero as another poster claimed was their experience. Ok, all this extra metal chunking up things. Why? The sight is useless. At least the rear removes. The side mounted rails are again, useless. I'd guess 2-3 oz in material in all could be eliminated without all this cacophony. I really prefer green illumination for some reason and other optics seem to run red so..I thought long and hard about knocking/drilling that pin out and correcting it, cutting off the excess chunks of aluminum, refinish....ummm..nuh, just not worth it. I think it might be fine if you really don't shoot much in which case being a cheapskate is good and it'll probably work for ya'. I've ordered a Primary Arms SLX 3x32mm Gen III instead which is still on the low end of things. Eh, ya' get what ya' pay for is the rule. ... show more
