  • Best sound care under 400$
My focusrite recently stopped working for me, so I brought this to save money so I can stream and record vocals . After using it I see no reason to upgrade. The sound quality is as good or equal to the Focurite right products or any other sound card in this price range. I think the next best thing sound wise both for mic and output Audio would be the universal audio sound card , and we all know how good that is. This product is definitely a bang for your buck. And it’s super easy to use . I’m currently using it on windows 10 and have no problems . ... show more

  • Outstanding interface.
Now that I have it, I wish I would have gotten the UMC204HD even though chances I'll want to add midi are slim.

  • Great USB audio interface
This is a very good two channel USB/audio interface. It provides a clean sound into the computer from microphones or audio line sources.

  • Not for me
I had no success with this unit. I went for the cheaper unit which worked perfectly.

  • Needs to be well grounded in a 220v environment
I live in Korea, and we run 220v here. Often times, plugs are not properly grounded. I cannot speak for 120v environments, as things are done differently per country (and you may have an adequate grounding system as part of the outlet). Unfortunately, I was getting some very annoying pops/frame drops when recording into OBS Studio --- this happened on 3 computers, including a brand new i5 10400 with M.2 NVME SSD, so I knew it had to be something other than the modest settings I was recording at. These pops/drops seemed to happen on a semi-random basis, only losing a few frames once every 5 to 7 minutes -- sounding almost like a static zap. I tried all manner of settings, and was driving myself nuts. Then I read something about how static build-up can cause digital frame drops. Grounding the external sound card was suggested (I suppose this can be an issue with other brands/models, as well). I was able to remove one screw from the back of my UMC202HD (not easy to do without stripping them) and ground a wire from it to a grounded screw on the 220v box plate. I haven't experienced any pops/frame drops, since! I only mention this for people who may find the same problem. Overall, I like the Behringer for what I paid. Sound quality and gain are wonderful. ... show more
