  • Amazing Microphone
Style: SL 84C
After using an instrument mic for so long this mic was such a nice change for my vocal recordings. Vocals are so much easier to master with it and it sounds nearly close to some good mics out there for nearly dirt cheap !!

  • Low cost expensive results

Best budget mic ive ever used. The handling noise is a bit much so if you’re not using a mic stand get the sure beta but this clone does deliver

  • Cheap But Works Great
Style: SL 84C
As long as the Microphone is touching your lips it will sound great. You get what you paid for. Awesome Microphone if you do not want any background noise.

  • Nice microphone. Has decent sound. Doesn't cost much.
Style: BA 85A
The media could not be loaded. This mic is a good deal. You're getting about 96% of what an SM58 is for about a quarter of the cost. The mic is well built, can sound quite nice (just add some EQ, to taste.) The best way that I can show you how it sounds is to attach an audio clip (shown as a video) The first half of the video is with EQ on the Behringer BA85a mic. The second half is without any EQ, just the basic, raw sound of the mic. ... show more

  • Great value microphone
Style: SL 84C
Amazing value for the price. The low end is a bit untamed, but other than it being so light weight you wouldn't know it's not a sm58.

  • Most bang for your buck!
Style: SL 84C
I'm absolutely shocked that a sub 20 dollar microphone sounds this good! It's not even close to the quality or sound signature of an actual SM58 so right off the bat, take that comparison out of your head. However, you WILL get a very well made, if somewhat light, dynamic hand held vocal mic... and a hard case! Beat the snot out these if you want because they're DIRT CHEAP! Someone walked off with one? Whatever! They're DIRT CHEAP! Give them away to the pretty ladies that fancy themselves singers to score some points! Because THEY'RE DIRT CHEAP! I'm definitely going to be buying a grip of these to stick in my arsenal... because THEY'RE DIRT CHEAP! ... show more

  • Great sounding mic for recording
Style: SL 84C
I wouldn't recommend relying on this mic as a main vocal mic for shows. But in a mic stand recording with a nice preamp and such. It sounds more pleasing with no effects/eq than my sm58. The sm58 does have a more defined round sounding low end but this behringer mic is less shrill on the highs. I would say this mic also sounds better than the slightly more expensive (and seemingly better built) super cardioid version of this mic. I wouldn't hesitate to but another if I needed more vocal mics. I was also impressed with the fact I didn't have to really pump the mic with any more preamp gain to make up for anything. Just kept my same settings and it sounded and performed great. I will be using this mic on at least one of my new tracks for my upcoming album. • Looks good
Style: SL 84C
The vocal quality seems good and it may be a good mic in a noisy environment, but the signal to noise ratio was not good enough for my purposes. In a quiet venue it had quite a noticeable 60 cycle hum when plugging it into a balanced line. I don't know if they are all like this or just the one I returned was. Other mics tested fine on the same cord. ??? ... show more
