    • Best book ever for beginners.
Covers every aspect of repair with many detailed photos of all the major appliances. I have already used it it fix my mother's dryer. The only way this could have been better is if it had a listing of places to buy parts and manuals. I found most of them on the net anyway.

Very old and dated most of it is a subset of the Time Life Complete Fix It Yourself Manual so buy that instead.

Very basic. I used it to install a new timer into my Kenmore washing machine. It was some help, but allot of what I needed to know the book did not provide. If I had it to do over again, I'd take a pass. That said, it was delivered on time in good condition.
