I suffer from horribly severe dry eyes and its gotten to the point that even eye drops don't help anymore. On a whim, I decided to give these eye masks a try. They were a bit expensive (for a single mom on a tight budget) but thought I'd try them anyway. I'm pretty much desperate at this point to ease the pain and discomfort in my eyes so I thought i had to try it. I admit I was a little skeptical of the pieces that go around the ears. Didn't seem like they'd hold up during usage. I was worried for no reason. They fit perfectly and didn't cause any movement or discomfort. I put the mask on and laid down. Within seconds, the mask started to heat up. Not too hot, but was comfortably warm. I could instantly feel the warmth and my eyes starting to. As the minutes wore on, my eyes felt better than they had in years. No burning, no itching, no grittiness. Just pure bliss. It felt so good and I was so relaxed, I actually fell asleep lol. It does state on the box it can help with insomnia and migraines. Both of which I also suffer greatly from. So falling asleep was just an added extra bonus for me. I am looking forward to trying it out when I get a migraine. The lavender scent was very mild and not overbearing. I'm not big on lavender at all and it was pretty pleasant actually. Over all, this was one of the best items I've gotten off Amazon in a long time. I will have to limit my usage as there's only 10 in a box. But I will definitely purchase these again!! Highly recommend. I have a salon and use these steam eye mask on my clients (and myself at home) to help elevate their experience and feel relaxed. My clients love these and I love them as well! They heat up fast. Scent is not too strong which i love! Plan to keep buying these!

You should stay away from these if you have blepharitis. I used one and within 48 hours I got the two worse eye sties of my life. I have blepharitis which makes me prone to the sties because of an oily T-zone but I use a mechanical air massage heating mask weekly and use a good facial cleanser, and haven't had a stie in over two years. These masks work, they heat up like hand warmers when exposed to air, they are small enough and the temperature is low enough to be safe for eyes and still warm enough to be relaxing. I have a pretty good sniffer and the lavender smell was not unpleasant, honestly it was hardly there. I purchased these primarily because I wanted that aromatherapy effect so I could sleep better and the weakness of the smell was disappointing. Despite the fact this triggered my blepharitis, I am giving it 4 stars because I had my partner try them with me and he fell asleep in a matter of minutes. His eyes were very refreshed. I think the scent comes from some oil or wax in one of the layers of the mask, and that's what triggered the sties. That's on me, I should have thought about that before purchase. These were easy to use, lasted a good 20 minutes, and did not cause any damage to the skin. ... show more

Pattern Name: Chamomile Scent
I have tried 2 scents if these masks, the lavender and the chamomile. I tried the lavender first. The scent was barely there, but honestly if it had been stronger it would have been bad. It is not a natural lavender scent. It's a very tiny scent that smells more like something an older woman would wear. It doesn't smell anything like lavender. The masks does warm up nicely which helps me relax to sleep but I was hoping for the lavender scent to also help with relaxing. Since the scent wasn't sufficient but the masks warms nicely, I decided to try a different scent in hopes it would be better. No such luck. The chamomile has absolutely no scent. I don't even think it was in a room with chamomile, there is no perceptible scent from the chamomile mask at all. It doesn't seem to warm up as much as the lavender ones either. I will likely try other brands to find something with a scent I like and more consistent warming. These are just okay and I'll only buy again if I can't find another better quality brand. ... show more

I was looking at different brands and wasn’t sure if these actually worked or not, but this mask is fantastic! It warms as soon as you open the package, and I set a timer and it lasted at least 33 minutes and is still fairly warm. I wore it while my husband watched tv next to me, ahh was this relaxing! It fits well over my ears and is very smooth and comfortable. The scent is faint if there, but honestly that’s fine because I wouldn’t want a strong smell.
