If I had it to do over again, I'd put this rug in front of the front door where it opens into the house, since this is a 0.24-inch low-pile rug that would have fit there perfectly. It's too late for that, but who knows? In the meantime, I put this in my extra bedroom where I'm about to set up a bed and make a real guest bedroom out of it. I love the muted, soft navy, beige, and gray colors of this rug, and you could absolutely put this anywhere. It comes in larger sizes if you want that, and I wish I had an XL rug like this for my living room, but this one's beautiful and is just right for the spot in that bedroom. This has a TPR latex backing, and it doesn't slip or slide. If it doesn't slip or slide when a 95-pound Labrador lands on it, it isn't going to do that. The rug is very well made, the edges finished nicely, and it's machine washable -- the seller says it will fit in a home washing machine, but mine is fairly new and I'm not taking chances. I like that the rug is stain resistant and it's easy to clean up small messes. The beige background does let stains show if you don't get to them in time, but sometimes we don't know there's a stain there until it's dried. Then the seller tells us to machine wash the rug, and I'll do that at the laundromat in a huge washing machine. I love this rug because the colors are all neutral, the rug is very low and won't catch on a door, it's well made, and you could absolutely use this anywhere in your home. It's recommended for high traffic areas, and my Lab has already tested this. In fact, he's my expert bargain sniffer, and he has just informed me that this rug has a 10% off coupon on it now. He promises this rug doesn't slip and slide no matter what he does to it. I highly recommend this rug and love the easy cleaning and the neutral pattern.

First of all, it’s SO soft - I was floored (no pun intended) when I unrolled it & laid it out. It’s also surprisingly thin, which is convenient in terms of weight but also means that it’s doesn’t unwrinkle itself as soon as it’s laid down. It’s a smidge stiff so it took a couple of days’ worth of walking all over it in order to get it to flatten most of the way out. I might recommend laying heavy objects in the folds in order to flatten it faster, if you can. Other than that, the raw/plasticy edges are ugly and the pattern itself is nothing spectacular to look at, especially with the given color combo (beige+grey, like, what?) BUT I needed a rug to cover my cold, uninsulated floor for the winter & this does the trick. Soft on the foot and stays warm. It’s a bit hard to vacuum though, as my Shark tends to stick to its plushy threads instead of being able to easily glide over it. Regardless, I’m happy. Honestly it’s great.

Upon opening I was happy to see the area rug rolled up and not folded. Once unrolled it took a little time to lay flat. I love the neutral colors and looks fabulous on my living room floor. When walking on the rug it’s so soft and feels good on my feet. This washes very easily, but since my animals are shedding it’s almost impossible to keep up with cleaning the fur. I like the 5”x7” but would have preferred something alittle bigger, but that option was not available to me. The only downside is it’s difficult to vacuum and my roomba has a hard time with it as well. Otherwise it not a bad area rug just needs some minor changes.

This is a fantastic area rug. I like the color I chose with the blue accents. I have two dogs who are always making messes. I tried another shag type rug and hated it because bits of their treats, toys, etc. would get stuck in the fibers and I could feel them under my feet. Enter this rug. It's soft under your feet and super easy to throw in the washing machine when you need to clean it. I also dried it in the dryer on low heat and didn't observe any shrinkage. This is a good buy.

I must say, every rug that I have received as been a winner. Prior to Amazon, I never really gave it a thought about the texture of my rugs. These rugs have totally changed my mind. Here is my review on this rug (it's very similar to my other rug reviews): (1) it's extremely soft, (2) an ample size, easily fitting my dining room table and 4 chairs rest on it, (3) the colors easily blend in my decor in several rooms, (4) its washable! I haven't washed it yet; but if it's like the others-it should do well, (5) it's not thick and bulky, making it easy to arrange in any room. This rug would be a nice addition to a cold basement floor, attic flooring, dining room/living room, den/family room. Makes for a nice housewarming gift, wedding gift, seasonal gift. Another rug makes me happy!

I am no stranger to budget rugs on amazon. With 3 kids and 5 pets we need cheap rugs. I had a washable rug before, but the problem was you had to peel it off a velcro backing and then painstakingly re-stick it to the velcro whenever you washed it. The idea of a whole rug you just chuck in the wash sounds great to me. I was surprised by the weight of the rug first of all. Most cheap rugs you find are glorified bathmats, this is not. Secondly the feel is extremely soft. I'd say cottony, or like fine wool. It just feels great to the feet. We have this in our kitchen, high traffic and high mess. This rug seems like it'll last and be well worth the price.
