  • I use this for sealing mushroom spawn injected into logs. Works well and great product

  • Not Yellow as Advertised
Size: 2 Pound
This beeswax product is not the deep yellow pictured on the package. It’s the white beeswax.

  • Using For Years
Size: 5 Pound
I've been using Beesworks pellets for years. It makes a great candle, especially if you know what you're doing, don't over heat it when melting, and use the proper wick for beeswax and it's size. As for the "smokey" smell people are referring to, beeswax is supposed to have a nice smokey scent to it. ... show more

  • I’m use to local beeswax
Size: 1 Pound (Pack of 2)
I’m use to buying beeswax from my locals but they were out so I bought this in a pinch and even though it got the job done it’s more yellow than what my regular one looks like and there is a big difference in scent between what I normally get and this

  • Perfect for making candles!
Size: 2 Pound
We Made amazing candles with these! I will be getting more. I want to make some salves as well! They melt nicely, in a double boiler. Easy to add in coconut oil with therapeutic grade essential oils, {you just want to make sure that they are ones that are safe to burn around kids and pets!} You want to let them cool in an oven that was preheated and then turned off so they cool slowly. Keeps candles from cracking! Clean-up Trick for Wax covered Double Boiler! Put messy pot into warm oven until it melts waxy mess & then wipe clean with a paper towel! We held up the wicks with clothespins, we did not have the Wick-Stickers. I might get some wick-stickers to use on other candles. I could see the benefit of having them. ... show more

  • Made nice candles
Size: 1 Pound (Pack of 2)
I was hesitant about using this wax when I opened it and it smelled like smoke. It smelled like smoke when it was melting too, giving me serious concerns about what my scented candles would smell like. I used this beeswax, soy, and a bit of bayberry wax for a test candle with a beeswaxed hemp wick. I added the rose scent at 185 degrees, then cooled and poured at 135. My candle has a good cold and hot throw-no smoke scent just rose. I'm very pleased with this wax. ... show more

  • Smells so strongly of smoke, I will not buy again.
Size: 2 Pound
The beeswax pellet size was nice and smaller than I typically use and it worked like other brands I’ve tried, however the smell of smoke was so alarmingly strong that I was so disappointed. I was planning to use this for multiple things especially skincare, but I definitely don’t want my face and body smelling like smoke. The color of the pellets was not even yellow, but a muddy cream color. I ended up trying to use it for making candles which worked out fine in the process, but the smell of smoke still lingers in the finished vanilla candles. It’s not bad for the candle scent alone, but definitely not the product I thought I was getting. I was hoping for something that smelled like normal beeswax, not this. If I was looking for a smoke scented beeswax, this would be it. I’d like to think this was a one time thing? But I don’t want to waste my money and try buying another to test this hypothesis to be disappointed if it does smell strongly of smoke based on the product standard. ... show more

  • This beeswax has a terrible chemical aroma...not good for candle making!
Size: 2 Pound
I tried this for my candles and it was very stinky...like a chemical compound or something synthetic. It was not the usual sweet smell of beeswax. But, I tried to make candles from it and they just smell wrong...my fragrance oils even smell weird in this wax. I would not suggest this for candle making... ... show more
