I don't know why I was expecting it to be glass, but it was a thin painted metal. It does look pretty in the garden, just be prepared to fill it daily as the water goes away very quickly.

This is the cutest bee bath that looks great in my garden next to my vegetables. I wanted something to attract the bees and the butterflies. I love that the marbles come with it so the bees can walk on them and get out without drowning. Price is just right, the color as you see is nice and bright to attract the bees and butterflies. You just have to make sure after it rains that the water doesn't get too deep. Great item that is small, cute and functional for what I wanted. Highly recommend.

I love the colors of this bee watering station, and that it comes with marbles to keep our little polinator friends safe while taking a break! It is so easy to assemble, you just twist the base right on! The stake is sturdy and it hasn't wobbled or moved a bit!

This was $16 when I ordered it - I think it's worth more like $10. It is pretty, but the metal is thin - the kind where you're afraid you'll get a cut because there will be a random little tiny metal shaving sticking out somewhere. With that said, it's not hard to put together and it has stayed in place very well. We don't have a ton of butterflies and bees constantly roaming around, but I do see them on a daily basis and I've had this out for a few weeks now and have never seen anything land on it. I may move it, but I have it near basil which is supposed to be a plant that both butterflies and bees like. I've seen bees on the basil, but not the fountain.
