Frequently asked questions

To use Bee's Wrap, simply use the warmth of your hands to soften the wrap and form it over a bowl, container, or piece of food. As the wrap cools, it creates a seal and stores food naturally. Wash with cool water and mild soap, then air dry. Avoid sources of heat, such as hot water and microwaves.

With proper care, Bee's Wrap can last for up to a year. If the wraps begin to lose their stickiness, you can refresh them by gently warming them on a baking sheet in an oven at a low temperature for a few minutes until the wax is evenly distributed.

Yes, Bee's Wrap wraps are an eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap. Made from organic cotton, sustainably harvested beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin, these wraps are biodegradable and compostable. Using them helps reduce plastic waste, contributing to less pollution and a healthier planet.

Bee's Wrap can be used with most types of food, except raw meat and fish. They're great for wrapping cheese, vegetables, bread, fruit, and baked goods, or for covering a bowl or casserole. The beeswax and jojoba oil have natural antibacterial properties that help keep food fresh.

  • No plastic
Color: Honeycomb
I love the way my products stay fresh in these. Easy to use and clean, makes me feel good that I don’t use disposable plastic to store veggies and other food. Do not recommend wrapping bell pepper in any of those, it leaves stains. Overall, the wraps are amazing.

  • Best for bread
Color: Honeycomb
This bees wax material is amazing and keeps home made bread fresher longer. It is easy to clean and smells good too. I like that it sticks to itself so it is easy to wrap around the bread and easy to remove. I would buy it again if I need to get more.

  • Small pain to wash & dry but work well & good for environment
Color: Honeycomb
It's kind of a pain to wash them and dry them. Also, they don't last forever - maybe six months. But, they wrap food very very well; and you're not using as many plastic bags which is good for the environment. You should all get some for that reason.

  • great alternative to plastic!
Color: Vegan Meadow Magic
i love this product! i needed something to keep my sourdough loaves fresh after being cut and so far this has done the trick. it sticks very well and it so easy to wrap around my loaves. i will say that i ordered a 3 pack but only received one large wrap. honestly, after reading other reviews about just how small the smaller wraps are, i'm not mad about it and decided to keep my review the same. just thought i would offer the information up. so happy with my purchase overall ... show more

  • Bees wraps are great.
Color: Vegan Meadow Magic
I purposefully bought the beeswax wraps to keep my homemade sourdough loaves from drying out. They worked 100%!! Exceeded my expectations. I was able to keep a loaf of my sourdough for almost two weeks without it becoming stale or moldy. My other loaf had a higher moisture content and that didn’t even matter - it stored perfectly as well. I’ve bought 3 sets thus far. Worth it….. although, I cannot yet speak to its durability (I’ve only used them twice) ... show more

  • Ok but could be more pliable
Color: Vegan Meadow Magic
This wrap is less pliable than others I have used, so doesn’t seal as well. Very pretty patterns though.

  • High quality beeswax wraps
Color: Fresh Fruit
The Bee's Wrap brand is made in Vermont and while they may cost a little more than other brands you can smell the high quality bees wax that they are made from. If you clean them as directed they will last you a long time. I only use mine on vegetables and mine have lasted over a year. I ordered a competitors brand recently because I could get three times as many sheets for what I pay for a set of 3 from this brand but I sent them back right away. They claimed to be made with organic cotton and bees wax but when they came they didn't have that wonderful bees wax smell and they were produced in China. I'd rather pay a little more and have a quality product and keep the Bee's Wrap company in Vermont in business. ... show more
