Selection guide 2RS / Double rubber seal - Good sealing effect, low rotational resistance and medium temperature resistance. ZZ / Double metal seal - Medium sealing effect, no rotational resistance and higher temperature resistance. Open / No seal - No rotation resistance and higher temperature resistance, usually used inside machinery. Product Features - These elements can be one of the following types: ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, ortapered. All rolling bearings are open, shielded, or sealed. - Sealed bearings are lubricated with oil or grease in the bearing factory, while open and shielded bearings are meant to be lubricated in place, with periodic reapplication of lubrication, based on use. - Theshield protects the working parts of the bearing from environmental debris that may be introduced and could reduce the ball bearing speed and lifespan. - Rolling bearings are used in a range of applications from agricultural machinery to conveying equipment, robotics,dental equipment, elevators, rolling mills, ship rudder shafts, skateboards, inline skates, scooters and aggregate crushers, among others.

They do a good enough job for small things that don't matter much. If you need something heavy duty then you will want to get a more expensive version that can withstand more abuse. These have been fun for some of my 3d printing projects and things that need to move but they don't need to be super smooth.. ... show more

I bought these to refurb a walker for a family member. The walker-specific ball bearings are around 3-4x the price. These fit perfectly, and the walker was back to brand-new condition after installation. The best part is I now have a few left over for whatever stupid project I dream up!

These are not high end ball bearings by any measure, but they work. Put a few drops of oil on them to really improve their rolling performance. Most importantly they fit standard wheels and axles, and that's all one can really ask of ball bearings in this price range. This pack has enough to fit a while set of wheels for a skateboard with a couple of spares. I'd suggest this set to keep in your backup wheels, because bearings and wheels tend to wear out at the same rate. This way you'll have fresh bearings to go with your fresh wheels, and can swap out more quickly, with a set already fitted and ready to go. ... show more
