  • Quality, easy to assemble, affordable and the second one I have bought from them is even better!
First off I have to say this is the second Bunk Bed I have bought from this manufacturer, The first one was with the full staircase on the side and 4 extra draws and side shelves. It was a beast in size but every board is one hundred percent solid wood well cured, kiln dried and went together in about 4 hours with 2 people. This one took me by myself about 5 hours to put together and the fit was flawless as were ALL the materials. The directions are picture only but every single piece is marked in a place where it will never show and the hardware and tools are included and marked as well. I won't tell you it is idiot proof but about as close as you can get. I have put together a lot of furniture over the years and the fact that they use 100% real solid wood not press board or "manufactured or veneer" is amazing especially at their prices. I did my homework for many hours and needed another Bunk Bed for my twins as the Ex and I are well, EX. My new home has 9 foot ceilings and I saw the "TALL" version of this bed and thought wow, my son who sleeps on the bottom will actually be able to sit straight up in bed so go for it. Great finish, compact, drawers could be a little deeper but compared to the junk or insanely overpriced beds out there this is beyond all expectations. It ships very fast and unless you have a weight lifter in the family the boxes 2 at about 90+ lbs a piece and a 3rd at about 35 lbs are a bit bulky and tough to handle solo. Luckily my UPS guy has a big heart and helped me get them inside the door after that I unpacked them right where they were. Double boxed, no cracked wood, no scuffs or scratches anywhere visible on the outside and really when you see how these are packed a packing fitment that would put NASA engineers to shame. Now that I have put 2 models by this company together I can say consistency in quality is not an issue. The only 2 complaints I might toss out there is first there is NO and I mean NO helpline or customer service to a live person. Granted this keeps cost down and they ONLY communicate via Email. The only other thing that I think they could improve on is the cross board "bunkie boards" that the mattress sits on. Granted they are pine as is the whole bed but a thin layer of plywood, 1/4" might be a good investment to put over the boards as they are a bit soft and sag with any concentrated weight on them in a single board or 2 over flexes with concentrated weight Plywood would distribute the weight more evenly and less pressure on a single board or 2 at a time might prevent a single board break. I am 210 lbs and If I lay across the bed carefully it supports me fairly well but if I were to just back up and sit down with my weight vertical over one spot say 3 or 4 boards I don't think they will hold me or at least I don't want to test that theory. That said the only other solution if I am right is to use a harder wood such as oak or ash instead of pine on just the slats. That said for my 70 lb kids it is perfect as is. Also the precision pre-drilled holes are the best straightest and well engineered I have ever dealt with for furniture. No sideways screws and the fact that I put together a 230 lb bed by myself with no help carefully assembling the top bunk directly on top of the lower rather than building each bed and then HAVING to use 2 people to lift the top onto the bottom, well that is a real testament of how easy and cleanly this bed fits together. My guess if there are 2 people assembly time would be about 2.5-3 hours. One last note this version vs the steps version this one you can pull away from the wall to make the bed. The Steps version even with 2 people moving it to changes the sheets, NOT gonna happen. Granted my kids are used to the steps and it is easy when they are half asleep to get off the top bunk to get to a bathroom in the middle of the night but the ladder is fairly wide rungs and placed in a way that a little person can not slip or step through the ladder like I see on so many metal or front ladder designs. Much safer and only a notch below the full steps from a navigation stand point. Great company, product, unreal price, fast deliver you earned your 5 stars and my business again and in the future. ... show more

If you are looking for a bunk bed don’t look any further! This is one of the best . Drawers have a lot of storage and assembly is easy.

  • Solid build and well-designed
I was wary about buying furniture online, but this bed is great. We've had it almost a year now. The fact that it's solid wood is important. It feels solid. My father-in-law and I put it together in a few hours with my 3-year-old looking on and comparing what we were doing to the pictures in the instructions, giving us advice. Our room is small and that was another benefit - the footprint of the bed is not much bigger than the matress itself. We got the two drawers underneath and I'm very impressed with their design. They're not actually attached to the bed, they just sit on rollers as wheels and fit under the bed. This eliminates the risk of drawer-slider hardware getting banged up, which it clearly would with kids climbing on it. If the drawers did get damaged, we could just take them away and the bed looks like it never had them - if you go with a bed with mounted drawers, then removed a broken one, it would probably look obvious that a drawer is supposed to be there but is missing. ... show more

  • Great Quality bed
Color: Grey
I bought my son a full size captains bed from Ashley furniture a year ago and hated that bed. It was not sturdy and had poor quality. I was alittle hesitant on buying a bed without looking at it but I read the reviews and seen mostly 5 stars. I pulled the trigger and I am very please with this bed. It is a sturdy and solid bed. This bed has the best quality bed our house. ... show more

  • Three Years and Still Solid
Three years I go we purchased our first set of bunkbeds from Bedz King and they are still in amazing shape. They’ve entered years of abuse but don’t have a scratch or crack to show for it. So when we needed another set of bunkbeds for a different kiddo we went right back to Bedz King. Some reviews say they’re difficult to assemble but we found it pretty easy. The beds are made of a hard wood so you do have to put some muscle into screwing in the fasteners. It probably took us about an hour for the regular bunk beds and two hours for the ones with stairs/drawers. We have one set with the pull out drawers under and one with the trundle. For us the trundle was a better buy. The drawers are big and sturdy, so they’re a little hard for our five year old to push in without help. ... show more

  • Solid, sturdy bunk bed!
Color: Grey
We ordered two sets for our 4 grandchildrens' visits and it took us about 6 hours to assemble them These are as sturdy as we had hoped, all wood with a beautiful finish in gray. Every screw hole was in the exact position required, every nut and bolt in the package. These are so well made!!! My only suggestion would be to put a few words in with the picture directions. We had to back up a couple of times when a few words would have kept us from making those mistakes. Youtube saved us! ... show more

  • Sturdy and looks amazing
This bed is super nice, so sturdy (my husband even feels comfortable up top!), and my 4yo son LOVES it. The storage drawers below are also very nice to have, they are not on a track so can roll all the way out, but that's not a big deal. We hired a handy man to put together and it took him about 5 hours solo, but it's STURDY and SOLID! ... show more

  • Nice beds and great customer service
These bunk beds are very nice, especially for the price. It really does take two people to assemble as they say in the instructions. My husband attempted himself and it was challenging. But in the end they look great. I like that they can be used unstacked, giving us some flexibility for the future. I was also really impressed with Bedzking customer service. We needed a couple of replacement parts and they responded quickly via email and the parts arrived in a few days. We had an issue with assembly but when I emailed a picture and description they responded quickly with clear instructions to remedy our error. ... show more
