This is a great bed, looks nice and is sturdy. Bought it for my 10 year old son and he loves it. Assembly will take 2 people. We used a drill bit to assemble (it says not recommended but we didn’t have 2 days to put together) drill worked great. Great bed for the money

Needed a new bed and did my research and bought this one. It cane early and all the pieces were packaged well. It took a long time to set up but was easy enough. It is sturdy and well made. It looks very good as well. Draws are large and lower bed moves easily. Good support for me and i have back and neck issues. Very high so if buying for children they might need a step. Foot and head boards are high enough to keep pillows on bed and no room for them to fall behind which was a real problem with my other beds. Overall very happy with bed. ... show more

I needed a bed that two kids could share in a small bedroom space and not take up a bunch of room. After looking for several days I decided this was the bed I wanted to purchase. I read a bunch of reviews on this bed before deciding to go ahead and order it. There were a few bad reviews but overall the reviews were really good so I decided to go for it. I should have listened to the negative reviews. It came in two very heavy boxes, no problem. As I started unboxing the pieces everything seemed fine until I got to the very bottom. Two of the main piece of the bed were split to the point you can’t assemble the bed. I contacted the seller/amazon and the suggestion was “send the bed back”. It wouldn’t be a problem sending the bed back except for the fact that the pieces are very heavy, it came in several boxes and someone had to make a box out of a box just to ship it. Also I’m 8 1/2 months pregnant so it’s not simple to load up a heavy bed and all the pieces to drop off at a UPS store. Once I finally found the directions those were so complicated that I finally sat them down and had to walk away from the whole project. The media could not be loaded. All in all the quality of the bed is very sturdy and very heavy duty. The coloring is nice and I love the texture, The only thing is that the front board of the trundle arrived cracked so during assembly we realized this but the bed was already half way put together, mind you their are over 100 screws&pegs so me being the fixer I am, I opted to go get brackets from my local Lowes instead of having to de-assemble the bed and figure out how to pack it back in the 2 boxes and send it back all for 1 board. I'm not sure if the cracked board was due to manufacturer mishandling or delivery driver mishandling. But so far the brackets are doing fine regardless. For the price I paid I would have hoped they would of been a bit more careful. Other than that this is a Beautiful Bed. My son's love it. ... show more

I didn't expect as much value as I received. Bought this bed for my teen daughter. I really dreaded putting it together but had zero issues and it went together fairly quickly. Do yourself a favor and use better tools than supplied to speed up the install. The nice thing here that you get besides the beautiful finish is the fact that it's solid pine wood instead of a cheaper laminated particle board. ... show more

We bought one of these beds in May for my daughters room in the Rustic Honey color and it has worked out so well! The color is so pretty! So, we bought 2 more for our upstairs loft room in Weathered Black for my son and my 3 step sons (ages 11, 10, 10, 9) and they are amazing! The color is awesome too! The 3 drawers at the bottom have lots of space too. I highly recommend these trundles. We bought the Olee Sleep 6 inch ventilated milti layered memory foam mattresses for my daughter room in May and the Zinus 6 inch green tea memory foam mattresses for the boys beds. PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING. I ordered 2 beds for our boys ages 13 and 8. One bed came with serious cracks that my husband had to add a support bracket,due to the placement it would have affected the structure of the bed (see photo). I must add, this bed is HEAVY when it’s delivered, you’ll need 2 ppl to move the box to where you plan to assemble it. Pros: 1.nice color, the black stone wash goes with just about anything. 2.Great storage, the drawers are a nice size for clothes, toys, games, pillows, blankets, just about anything. 3. Trundle is a great addition for sleepovers Cons: 1. Poor wood quality, some of the wood even split while putting the prices together. 2. Wood planks are to short. The bed supports holding the mattress aren’t long enough so more than half of them split during assembly because the screws are to close to the edge of the bed frame 3. Beds arrived 1 week late ! Nothing was compensated. 4. Bed arrived damaged, pieces were split and required repair. 5. Returns are unrealistic. When u open the box there is really no way to repackage this item for returning, it’s very heavy and has SO many pieces that it’s really unrealistic to try and send back. 6. Took 5 hours to put the first bed together due to all the NON predrilled holes ! There are so many screws you’ll need to place where the instructions tell you to, but NO predrilled holes ! 7. Standard mattress DID NOT FIT trundle ! We purchased a standard nothing pillow-top nothing fancy or to thick for the trundle bed, and it still didn’t fit! We have to push down to squeeze the mattress under the bed to be able to shut the trundle 8. The second bed also had wood cracks but nothing to bad so we didn’t not need to make any repairs ... show more
