This is what I would consider a great mattress pad for the money. It is not water-proof (I wanted to cover the thin water-proof one that was required for my mattress warranty). It fit my full-size mattress (13" deep) fine and holds the thin one down and in place too. I would imagine it would fit a mattress up to 15" deep without issues. It is not too thick and not too thin; it is more than a mattress protector, and less than what many would call a "topper". Washed and dried well (separately in cold water, gentle cycle, low heat in dryer), though I have only washed it once and it took a long time to dry completely. Like all "cotton" mattress pads in the under $100 price range, this is only cotton on the top; the filling and everything else is polyester. I did not find it to be "cooling", but it doesn't seem to sleep hot either. The first night it felt like the inside was subtly crunchy, but that went away (or I got over it) after a few nights. I spent about six months shopping and reading reviews to replace a 20 year old Serta mattress pad that had fallen apart. I am glad I got this Bedsure pad. ... show more

So much so, that I’ve stocked up in case ’they’ change the fabric or fluffiness. I’ve got about 87. I live in SW FL, hot and sticky, so I do like to change them kind of often. I was surprised at how nicely made this pad is. The top is very dense and well-stitched. All the seams are straight. And to be clear: I bought this as a mattress pad/protector, not something to make my bed more comfortable. Anyone who thinks a product like this will make their bed more comfortable is unrealistic. Especially at this very good price. The only thing that *may* make your bed more comfortable is a product that adds a thick layer of something like memory foam or latex that will need its own cover. Or just get a new bed, which is what most probably need to do. I do realize the description alludes to better comfort and fluffiness, but you have to weigh that against the price and the rest of the description. ... show more

Using it on an queen air mattress for a cozy sleep, not as plush as I would like but it is good quality and fit for the price. It does the job. Haven't washed it yet so time will tell. Love the way the company reached out with care and washing notes.
