I am spending the summer with a relative, and the bed just wasn't comfortable. The mattress felt lumpy, even though it's fairly new. I stripped the bed and discovered a very old and lumpy mattress pad. Bought this one to replace it because of the loft and the 300 TC 100% cotton top, and I'm glad I did. Straight out of the bag it is flat, but if you wash and dry it (dry on low) it fluffs up beautifully. Not quite a "topper" (it's not that thick), but definitely a luxury mattress pad. And it made a huge difference in the comfort level of my bed. I used to feel like I was sleeping on a bag of scattered marbles, now I feel like I'm sleeping on a nice, firm supportive cloud (lol). And the cotton top does make a difference. The old pad (100% poly) made me sweat. This one does not. Finally, the sidewalls and elastic easily fit over my 13" mattress with room to spare. Fits the bed very well, no looseness or sloppiness. I probably read through 20 mattress pad descriptions before selecting this one. For the price ($34), I don't think it can be beat. Recommended.

Bought this this mainly to protect the mattress. It is well made, seams sewn well and the padding is a plus. Makes the bed comfy cozy. No instructions enclosed that tell you to stick cover, when you take it from package, in the dryer for a few minutes. Puffs it right up. So far very pleased.

I absolutely appreciated the comfort of the bed sure mattress pad. High marks for that. Fluffy full, beautiful, all that we might be looking for. However, after struggling with it slipping and sliding for two years, I finally had to bring it out to the garbage yesterday, The deep pockets that fit up to 21 inches is ridiculously oversized for my 13 inch Aireloom mattress. My sheets were consistently lifting off corners and the mattress pad constantly slid down to the foot of the bed. I even tried that big rubber band thing to hold it down. It is not possible to fit a span of 8-21 inches properly. I find this to be a false claim. I was so annoyed today that I threw In the towel and bought a temporary mattress pad at a discount store while I research for a mattress pad that stays put throughout the night. I did have a great mattress pad made by stearns and foster that never slipped on my same 13 inch Aireloom mattress. Unfortunately it is no longer being sold. So back to the drawing board…. Update. I received a new mattress pad from Amazon that is not nearly as good as bedsure. I think the issues are in the skirt. The fabric of the skirt is too flimsy for a mattress under probably 18 inches. I definitely miss the comfort of bedsure.

This is what I would consider a great mattress pad for the money. It is not water-proof (I wanted to cover the thin water-proof one that was required for my mattress warranty). It fit my full-size mattress (13" deep) fine and holds the thin one down and in place too. I would imagine it would fit a mattress up to 15" deep without issues. It is not too thick and not too thin; it is more than a mattress protector, and less than what many would call a "topper". Washed and dried well (separately in cold water, gentle cycle, low heat in dryer), though I have only washed it once and it took a long time to dry completely. Like all "cotton" mattress pads in the under $100 price range, this is only cotton on the top; the filling and everything else is polyester. I did not find it to be "cooling", but it doesn't seem to sleep hot either. The first night it felt like the inside was subtly crunchy, but that went away (or I got over it) after a few nights. I spent about six months shopping and reading reviews to replace a 20 year old Serta mattress pad that had fallen apart. I am glad I got this Bedsure pad.

So much so, that I’ve stocked up in case ’they’ change the fabric or fluffiness. I’ve got about 87. I live in SW FL, hot and sticky, so I do like to change them kind of often. Just a way to take care of ‘ME!’
