How is it possible for a blanket to be cold?! I don't know, but they have managed it with this one! The blanket is a wonderful size. I have a queen size bed but prefer a king size blanket, and this fits the bill nicely. The blanket is nicely weighted, without being a weighted blanket, so it gives you that little bit of extra comfort. It is SO SOFT...literally, I keep rubbing it between my fingers because it is so soft. Something I always look for when I'm checking out a product is if it's that "microfiber" soft that catches on every speck of dry skin (*shudder*), but this is not! I am so much enjoying laying down on a warm evening and pulling this blanket over me and having it be cool. And in the middle of the night, when I get hot, instead of throwing all the blankets off, I just move the blanket around to a cooler spot and then fall back asleep. Just delightful.

We gave this a try and were shocked at how cool this blanket was to the touch. Like magic, we instantly felt cooler under the blanket compared to the room's ambient temperature... which is a very odd sensation at first. The material is very soft and is apparently a blend of nylon and elastane. Interestingly, the blanket feels very breathable and does not excessively heat up through the night. Now, it does warm up slightly as any material would, but this is dramatically to a lesser degree than a cotton blanket would for example. Overall quality is excellent and the entire set is a perfect fit for our bed. I can't imagine a better set for sleeping through the summer nights. Highly recommend this to anyone who struggles with being hot while they sleep.

This quilt is so very comfortable. It has been quite warm here for the past few days. Not enough to run the air conditioner, but warm enough that it is uncomfortable at night. Even when it is hot I have a hard time sleeping without a blanket which typically overheats me. This comforter is a game changer for me. It truly does keep you comfortable. Between this and a fan I slept very well despite a night time room temp of 76 degrees. I also love the pillow cases which do a nice job of keeping your head cool. I ordered a cal king by accident but it does work as a traditional style bed spread on my very high full bed hitting just an inch or two above the floor. If my bed were shorter it would not have worked.

This blanket is amazingly soft, and it's very cool when you first climb into bed. The only problem is that although it's very cool initially, it does hold the heat pretty well, which is the opposite of what you want. So you start to get too warm, then I need to find a different part of the blanket that is still cool. It's interesting how it can feel so cool to the touch, but it traps too much heat overall. I love this blanket. I don't know if it's worth the price, but I do really like it.
