Very well made. Super soft. Very plush and long “fur” that she really snuggles into. Does not shed, and does not seem to hold onto odors at all. The unusually deep indentation between the formed sides and thick convex padding in the center of the bottom give her a place to really burrow. She loves to observe the world by propping her chin on the top of the thick sides, but mostly she enjoys burrowing into the deep plush-covered and well-padded base (she hates any light in her eyes while she sleeps, so she presses her face deep into the indentation to keep out the light). After it was washed in the washing machine and dried in the dryer following the manufacturer’s recommended settings, we only had to give it a few hard shakes, massaged one area around the side where the inside padding felt a little clumped up, and it was perfect again. We have otherwise only had to spot clean it a few times because she rubbed against the soft plush to clean her dirty face after eating, but we mostly refresh and re-fluff the dog bed by shaking it briskly outside. Have used the vacuum crevice attachment to remove shedded dog hair that may collect in the deep crevice, but before putting it in the washing machine we inverted the padded bottom cushion to fully expose the base of the crevice, and the washing machine and dryer easily removed everything, including the hair. Not sure if this will be too warm for her in the worst of the summer, but suspect she will continue to use it to hide from the ceiling fan in comfort. Best dog bed we have ever purchased, and we keep a dog bed in each room because this is a breed that must always be by our side. She says it was worth the money. We agree. Update 12/2023: holding up well, having been machine washed (cold) and dried (low) three times. She still loves it, and prefers it over all other beds she has (not counting my electric throw, which always wins out when temp dips down to what she calls “freezing” (mid-60’s). A helpful family member briefly turned the dryer setting up to medium. DON’T DO THAT unless you want to risk destroying the softness of the fake fur. (Fixed it by running a boar bristle brush through the slightly crispy burnt tips of the fake fur, and it’s soft again, but it felt awful before I did that). Bought an identical bed in dark brown to keep in the office. This one is totally different and nowhere near as nice as the first one - poorly sewn with one seam on the bottom left open for more than four inches, and Not as well padded as the first bed. Thought it was a glitch, so exchanged it for another, and it, too, is poorly sewn, and poorly padded. I’m keeping it anyway because she loves it so much. Im certain I will need to close that skipped area of seam and add padding after washing in order for this to be as firm and sturdy as the orig in the lighter color. (Will deduct stars in that separate review)

I recently got this cozy dog bed for my furry friend, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase! My dog used to always jump on the couch, making it a constant battle to keep him off the furniture. But ever since we introduced this bed, he’s completely changed his habits! Now, he eagerly goes and lays down on it, clearly loving the plush comfort it provides. This doggie bed is the VERY BEST!!! Winston, our 13 year old Shih Tzu came home from a 3 day hospital stay due to major arthritis in his back. He was very happy to be home but still felt very uncomfortable and would not go into his bed. The vet suggested this calming round wonderful doggie bed, it was delivered within 4 hours to my surprise. As soon as I opened the package and set up this great doggie bed my Winston was laying in it and fell asleep for several hours. It is so soft, the bottom is very thick and fluffy. Our Sophia a 10 year old Shih Tzu wanted to nap in the bed and could not understand why we did not let her share the bed with sick Winston, so the same night I ordered a second bed for her. We have two very happy pups with two beautiful doggie beds. I highly recommend the bed with it's beautiful style, fabric, stuffing and comfort and of course the superfast shipping from Amazon.

My dog is a senior basset hound, about 65 pounds, and very set in his ways where he sleeps. His old “favorite” bed was very flat and the memory foam inside had started to develop mildew from drool/moisture. I had to throw it out and he wasn’t receptive to other new beds we tried. But I was so happy to see him climb right into this new bed and sink into all the soft, furry goodness. Especially with the higher padded sides where he could rest his head, while his body sank into the middle of the bed. He literally slept in it all night the very first night, and looked so nestled and safe. But the next morning the center area of the bed was completely flat, when he got up I could feel the hard wood floor through the center bed pillow cushion. The sides of the bed are perfect, they retain their shape and firmness. But the bottom center cushion of the bed, where most of his body laid was completely flattened after one night. So I unzipped the bed and removed the inside flat pillow cushion the bed came with. I replaced it with a 28 inch round diameter x 3 inch thick piece of foam dog bedding from Amazon to the underside of the bed center. Now it’s perfect and my dog loves the bed, and his body isn’t laying on the hard wood floor. Probably wouldn’t be an issue if our house was carpeted, so I would recommend if you have hard wood or tiling to invest in extra padding or foam padding under the center of the bed.
