I wanted to use this for a but before writing the review. I love it. I have an old mattress that I was trying to replace. This works perfectly. It is taller than my old mattress which was just what I needed. It is a spring mattress but does not appear as such. It is comfortable and enable me to have a restful sleep. It does take a couple of days to regain full solid shape. When you enroll it, that shape looks good right away, but for you to be comfortable and for it to appear solid, you need to give it a couple of days. I still slept on it, maybe that is the reason it took so long. I do have a mattress topper on mine most of the time, but tried it without and it feels good too. All in all, I prefer foam mattresses, but I like this one, as I do not feel the springs and it is comfortable. ... show more

I wanted to try this mattress for awhile before I reviewed it. I have a guest room mattress my son complains is to soft. It was very expensive and I switched it out with this very very reasonable mattress without telling him and he noticed right away that it was a nice firm mattress. We both have "BRAND NAME" mattresses that are as hard as a board so they are not comfortable either. Im not sure how long this one will hold up but since its guest room bed Im fine with it. ... show more

After enduring back pain caused by my six-year-old memory foam mattress, I decided it was time for a change. The discomfort had become unbearable, making it a struggle to get out of bed each morning. Opting for a firmer mattress, I chose a hybrid with inner springs instead of a full-spring mattress, aiming for a balance between support and comfort. The well-packed mattress, vacuum-folded in a box with dual layers of plastic wrapping, arrived in excellent condition. Despite the instructions recommending three days for expansion, it reached its full shape within a few hours. Although we adhered to leaving it for an additional two days, there was no further change in size. However, noticeable "dents" persisted on two of the pillowtop corners, and despite almost two months of use, they haven't resolved. Here's my honest review after two months of usage: Pros: Weight: The mattress's substantial weight contributes to stability. Firmness: As a hybrid mattress, it provides the necessary firmness, significantly alleviating my back pain and promoting a refreshed wake-up experience. Air Circulation: The "egg-crate" design on the pillowtop facilitates better air circulation, preventing heat buildup and ensuring a cooler sleep. Cons: Tilted Pillow Top: One side of the foot end of the mattress exhibits a slight tilt in the pillowtop, noticeable right out of the box. Whether intentional or a defect remains unclear, raising questions about the design. Deeper Bumps: The bumps on the pillowtop are somewhat pronounced, easily felt during sleep and occasionally disrupting my rest. A more seamless design for these bumps would have been preferable. In conclusion, while the hybrid mattress offers stability and the desired firmness, the persisting pillowtop issues and the somewhat disruptive bumps leave room for improvement. Despite these drawbacks, the positive impact on my back pain and the cooler sleep experience make it a worthwhile investment. ... show more

This hybrid mattress has proven to be very comfortable for my aching back and hips. I was amazed that the coils could be compressed so much for shipping, but after about 24 hours to fully decompress, the mattress is providing great support and an even better night's sleep. Like many memory-foam topped mattresses, this one does sleep warm for me (all memory-foam does for me), but it has been very comfortable during this cold start to the winter months. This has been a game changer for us. After a years of very unrestful sleep, we finally got it. Best sleep we have had in a long time. This has been such a nice comfortable mattress. It arrives compressed in a box, and will take about 2 days to expand fully. It had a bit of an odor which goes away pretty quickly. This is most likely from being in the plastic. I like that it has the comfort and support from both memory foam and springs. The pillow top is comfortable, but you can feel the bumps while laying on it. I choose to put on a thin padded mattress protector, and it makes a difference. Well made mattress good quality materials. The stitching is well done and seems like it will last. This a great mattress for the price, and I would definitely recommend it. ... show more
