I bought a queen size mattress and it was packaged great. Heavy. I opened it up and let it sit on the bed for 3 days, no smell at all. I slept on it for a week and couldn’t take it no more I had to put my 3 1/2 foam mattress topper on it. I have a deteriorating back and I’m a side sleeper also. The mattress is Great and I think if I didn’t have such a severe medical problem this mattress would be the bomb. I love it. When I get up the dog don’t even know I’m gone It’s soft but firm in places where you need it. And when you sit on the side of the bed it will hold you up with no problem I usually put my socks on sitting on the side of the bed I hope this helps everyone on there decision on buying a mattress. I took a chance and I’m glad I did Perfect selection for me. 4 stars for my back. 5 stars if I had no pain but there is no hope for my back I gave it 5 stars because price , quality and it’s not their fault I have such a severe medical problem. Omg!!!!!! what an AWESOME Mattress. Let me start off by telling you this is the second one I purchased that was a Bedstory mattress. The first one was the white one 14 in with the bright green trim. Right away I knew I goofed and it was too high making me feel like I was sleeping on the top bunk. I notified Household co and they offered a discount to keep it. I gave it to my mom, whose bed frame made it not so high.It is a nice mattress. More mushy even though it was medium firm. I believe this one is more comfortable. I received this quickly. Like in 3 days and let it fluff up more than 3 days only because I couldn’t move it myself and my son wasn’t available. When we finally got it on my frame I was AMAZED!!!!!! Wow, it’s supposed to be plush. It’s got better memory foam on top but not so soft that you can’t move. It’s funny it feels supportive but you can feel the Euro top cradle your body . I feel like I’m laying on a wonderful pillow. Not too firm , not too soft. This one is plush and is so much better than the other one that was medium firm. I don’t get it.??? Maybe it had to do with being too thick in height. I can tell this one is the right one . I was hesitant to get plush. But, it’s perfect like an expensive mattress. I have a bad back and fibromyalgia and I can tell you this mattress is sooo very comfortable. This one also comes in firm so be careful you make sure you pick the one you want. BTW I read so many reviews and did so much research on these mattress. I’ve concluded there’s many brands that make good mattresses. They’re probably all very similar in construction and materials. Love, love this mattress! I spent about 30 days researching mattresses, manufacturers, warranties, contents, where they are manufactured, etc. I decided on the Bedstory Monologue, 12 inch, full mattress, and I could not have made a better choice! it is an amazing mattress. I don't even want to get out of bed in the morning. I’m 5 ft 4 in, 124 pounds, have low back issues, arthritis. Our previous bed was a Sealy, $2,000 bed. I would wake up with hip and shoulder pain, when laying on my sides and often low back pain. Not with this Bedstory Monologue! My man is 6 ft 4 in, 240 pounds. He normally is unable to sleep on his back comfortably, but with this bed, he does. It truly amazed him. Excellent bed at a great price, It inflated quickly with no problems. You will need a scissor or razor to open the mattress plastic wrap carefully, because no cutter was included and no written instructions, but there were basic diagrammed instructions printed on the outside of the box. Easy enough to figure out.. Gotta go. Time for a nap! Thank you, Bedstory! I want to add that the Monologue mattress is not a cushy mattress. On Bedstory's website it is shown as "extra firm" and it is. Yet it is soft and soooo comfortable. It has excellent support. I don't sink into it, so it's easy to turn over without having to lift myself up, like on our previous foam type mattress. This mattress was purchased for my 87 year-old mom. It has been such a comfortable Mattress for her. She has slept on it for about a week and a half. It’s medium firm, no odor, quickly inflated after removing the wrapping. I would buy this mattress again for myself if I needed a mattress. It’s made in USA. I was able to slide the box on her tile and her carpet in order to take it to the bedroom. It is quite heavy weighing almost 100 pounds for the queen size. If you slide one side onto the boxspring first, it works better than lifting it. Once you get an edge up on the foundation or boxspring, the plastic wrap allows you to slide it into the position you desire. Pay attention to the white top. It needs to be on top and the gray black portion needs to be on the bottom. Good value compared to local furniture stores. Comes with an envelope cutter to avoid cutting the mattress. I saw a lot of positive reviews about this product and hence ordered this but lemme tell you this is not a good mattress if you looking for something solid and stiff. This mattress is quite bouncy when you move around while sleeping.
