This mattress pad is awesome! I have a prior back injury that makes sleeping on a firm mattress excruciating. I bought what I thought was a soft bed, but was anything but. I bought this 4-inch mattress pad in hopes it would alleviate the stress on my shoulder and low back. It certainly does! As you get older, the softer mattresses just work better for your joints and any injuries. This pad helps tremendously and is a great supplement for a firm bed that is causing discomfort. Your sheets may or may not fit after putting this on, but for me, I can live with it. Measure your current mattress and take into account the four inch pad if that would bother you.

With the coupon, this was worth the money. I prefer a soft bed and this is soft and squishy like mochi, but still dense. Definitely not for people who prefer firmness. It inflated fully in about an hour, and the removable cover that it comes with seems of good quality. My only complaint is the smell. At first there wasn't too much chemical smell, but now it seems to be off-gassing or something and has a chemical smell which irritates mine and my boyfriends sinuses. Hopefully this goes away with time.

For quite a while I was struggling to get to sleep on my spring mattress until I got this topper. I opted for the 2" gel bamboo and charcoal infused foam topper and I'm very happy I did. It didn't take long at all for it to fully expand to it's TRUE shape, maybe a couple hours if that, and I was asleep within minutes of laying down. I woke up with some typical back pain probably because my back is shot but it was less than without the topper. All other pains I had being neck and shoulder pain went away. I sweat less on this topper than I did laying just on my mattress and woke up actually feeling refreshed and ready for the day even before having coffee compared to my once typical groggy, painful, and restless self.

I didn't realize how uncomfortable my RV bed was until I put this memory foam topper on it. Now I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud while being kissed by angels. This memory foam pad totally eliminates uncomfortable pressure points by providing even, consistent support for my whole body. What are the downsides? Well, this topper wasn't available in a "short queen" size, so I had to cut down a queen sized topper, but that wasn't a big deal. And this memory foam topper does have a strange but subtle odor for the first day or so. But still, this is the best money I've ever spent.

We purchased this item for my daughters bed as her twin is very firm and she was complaining that it wasn’t comfortable. It is VERY soft and very contouring and very comfortable! No off-gas smell, it is not overly warm either. Yet to be seen is how well it holds up over time but for a child who just wants a softer bed it is perfect. As a bigger man myself, I could see how it might be too soft for some, I wouldn’t want it on my bed on its own (my bed is already not firm) and if you have a mattress that already has a lot of give or is on the softer side this will likely not be comfortable. For: firm beds that need a “pillow top”, smaller people and kids for sure.

My husband and I bought this to put on top of our sleep number bed. Man, do we *love* it!! It is so comfortable! I have a tendency to get hot at night, and this hasn't made me hot at all. It inflated nicely, and the smell wasn't bad at all. I am someone who does painstaking research and reads every negative review before buying. I'm so glad I bought this despite the few negative reviews. And I highly recommend it!

I replaced my old mattress topper for this one. I had my old one for quite some time and was due for a new one and was looking for one that was similar (gel foam). This has exceeded my expectations. It’s comfort and has a memory foam which is just right for any back pain and helps with a good night sleep. Highly recommend, the package was easy to take out and only need about 1 hour to decompress to its two inches.

This mattress pad is great for both side and back sleepers. Quite soft, but supportive. We bought 2 for twin beds in the guest room. The other night I was having a hard time sleeping so to avoid disturbing my wife I moved into the guest room and was VERY pleased with the comfort of the pad. Felt like a very expensive mattress. The TWIN size fit both the Twin and TwinXL we have. We though of trimming the one on the standard twin, but it didn't cause any problems. This is an excellent investment in comfort.
