So far it’s a big improvement over my last mattress. I would say this is a great value, and would certainly recommend to anyone not interested in spending in the range brick and mortar mattress stores charge. I wouldn’t say it’s the very best mattress out there, but it’s also one of the least expensive queen sized mattresses you can buy at this price. Hoping it stays comfortable with time.. Not sure if I bought it during a limited time deal, but I paid around $299 for this, which is an unbelievable price considering it must cost practically half that just to ship it. I am certain my local mattress shop would have sold the equivalent mattress for at least $800, if not much higher than that!

We purchased a queen size, medium firm mattress. Overall, we have no complaints. Mattress is very comfortable, seems to be made well. Looks expensive. Exterior material is very nice. Very thankful for the other reviews warning of how the mattress needs to be in place before releasing the plastic! First time purchasing a mattress online. Mattress is very heavy and would be difficult to move if you did not put it on the bed frame before cutting the plastic. Ours took about 48 hours to puff up. This is a great mattress and we would definitely purchase again.

Wow, wow, wow – Incredible! I don't use superlatives or exclamation marks often; I don't like to wear 'um out. This mattress deserves the 'Wow, wow wow – Incredible!' though. I put it in a frame this evening, without box springs. I threw a pillow down, lay down for a test, and I must say, I do believe it to be the most comfortable mattress I've lain on. Now, I know we all have different preferences in mattresses – so, I'll fill in the blanks here. I deal with back issues, I like a very firm mattress – I'd rather sleep on the floor than on most mattresses. In fact, at cheap hotels me and the blanket often hit the floor. That said, this mattress isn't floor hard; it is soft enough to fill every nook and cranny of my back, buttock, and legs – yet firm enough to to keep me a float – so to speak. I keep thinking about inflatable boats / dinghies. Soft mattresses to me are similar to inflatable boats that don't have ridgid floors; when you try to walk in them your feet sink way to much and throw you off balance. The ridged floor isn't a good analogy for this mattress – but that wasn't my point. I'm ramblin' now. Guess my point is: this mattress isn't to hard, it isn't too soft, ItS JuSt RiGht. I was really surprised when the driver brought it in. It arrived in a box 14 by 14 inches, 42 inches tall. So I knew it was barrel rolled. Still, that is a small space for this mattress. When I saw it come in the door the first thing through my brain was, “Great, they didn't get any firm mattress in there.” So - so glad I was wrong. The mattress is wrapped in a country mile of plastic (which I will re-purpose as a paint drop) when you get the wrap off you see its in a vacuum bag that had the bee-cheeses sucked out of it. Make a small hole and it expands to full size in the vacuum bag. If you have any reservations about ordering a mattress from Amazon I can say there are no issues with this one. I set this up in the warehouse to take it for a test drive – I do occasionally sleep here – like when I'm writing reviews at 1:53 in the morning. I'll be leaving the plastic on till we decide whether she's staying at the warehouse or going in the guest room. 7 Stars for the BedStory Firm Mattress with Extra Lumbar Support

We have several BedStory mattress toppers and love the quality and comfort of them, so I was looking forward to trying a BedStory mattress. I was not disappointed! QUALITY This twin mattress is made very well. The materials used are an excellent quality. The mattress feels like pure luxury! The construction is very well done - everything looks perfect. The material used is SO soft and cozy - we love it! COMFORT The mattress is extremely comfortable. It's firm enough to support you when you sit on it - the edges don't collapse like some hybrid mattresses do. The mattress is very supportive when laying on it. Even when you sleep on your side, you don't feel pressure-points like some spring mattresses do. This mattress is a medium firmness - we like that. It's not too soft that you sink into it and can't move, but not so firm that it feels like sleeping on a board. It really is just the right firmness for our comfort. The mattress is also cool to sleep on - it doesn't make you hot when sleeping. That's definitely a plus, especially since we're using this mattress at our seasonal lake cabin. We're using this mattress on a metal bed frame with no box spring. It works perfectly this way. I am thrilled that the mattress doesn't need a separate box spring. STYLE I love the look of the quilted part of this mattress. Everything about the mattress looks beautiful. Because the mattress is all white, when using a mattress protector and white sheets, you don't see any colored edging or patterns that might have been designed as part of the mattress. I like that. BED IN A BOX It was SO convenient that this mattress was delivered in a box! We are using this mattress at our lake cabin, so it was easy to transport to the cabin in the box - no having to haul a mattress on the roof of a vehicle or in a trailer. Once we took the mattress out of the box, it expanded over the weekend. Because it took the entire weekend to fully expand, we didn't use it immediately, but the following weekend it was ready to go. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of BedStory products and their comfort. This mattress is very affordable (especially for a seasonal cabin), yet no compromise on quality. I do recommend it.
