I purchased the Extra Firm 14 inch Cooling Gel, Hybrid Bed in a full size. It is a very nicely made mattress that has a combination of cooling gel and layers of foam with individually wrapped coil spring for extra support. The top of the mattress has a 2 inch mattress pad that is more comparison to a pillow top mattress and not memory foam. So when you first lay on it, your weight is supported to keep you lifted while your curves are molded into the bed. It does not have a super hard feel to it. I believe the firmness of this mattress relates to the ability to keep your body from sinking into the bed so that your lower back your hips your shoulders are aligned properlyIt so comfortable. It’s almost the best of both worlds. A mattress meets a very well constructed memory foam gel with foam wrapped coils. It supports side sleeping and my lower back and hip with no more hip dip from sinking too far into the mattress. I Do not wake up stiff nor have lower back tightness and pain as I was with the higher priced memory foam mattress, which was almost 3 times as much as this one. I won’t list the name, thoughI have had two hip surgery replacements and can only sleep on my right side. This does not cause any type of pain or discomfort at all. I wake up refreshed every morning. No inflammation from being out of alignment. For context: We have a king size very swanky memory foam mattress company, which is super comfortable and has firm feel. We’ve had this mattress for 10 years and it’s still feels and looks brand new. However, with two adults and two large dogs trying to sleep on it; it’s crowded. While it still is comfortable, the dogs tend to take over the bed eventually and lay on top of you. This results in discomfort for me because they want lay across my legs and hips which I can’t have. So I’m usually the one that has to leave the “big bed” and go to the guest bedroom to get sleep. I had initially purchased the same mattress brand we have in our king only to find that it was too soft for me and sinking into the bed, which resulted in a lot of lower back pain and hip discomfort. I was able to return it, which was part which was perfect. I took a huge chance on researching hybrid beds, and believe it or not ChatGPT found this brand on Amazon. I took a chance and purchased the full size 14 inch hybrid extra firm bed. I did not have high expectations because of the cost however, there was a return window of 30 days so figured if I was able to return the first one I’ll do the same with this if it doesn’t work out. I am so glad I took the chance on this bed! After sleeping on it one night both my lower back and hips are totally relaxed. Absolutely zero discomfort or pain. The bed is very very well-made. The pillow top is a nice combination to give it more of a mattress feel while the layers of foam and wrapped coils provide the uplifting support you need as a side sleeper. Instead of sinking into the bed my weight is supported to be on top of the mattress- if you know what I mean, you know. I’ve had the bed for five days now since March 15 and absolutely love it. It has been the best $300 spent ever! I highly recommend this brand and mattress! 😎

I waited 6 months before creating this review. This mattress takes a while to break in. It seemed like it was firm which I had initially wanted to order, but after reading the reviews I settled on this one and I'm glad I did. I've slept on mattresses that cost thousands of dollars that paled in comparison. I sleep very well and even with a bad back I can comfortably sleep on it. While I am a side sleeper this fact globe has made the purchase worth every penny. The foam cradles while the springs support. Its an amazing value. Highly recommend but advise you to bear with the break in period. It's fantastic !

After researching several different hybrid mattress brands, we decided to go with this one. We call our new mattress The Iron Cloud. It's incredibly strong & supportive, but also soft & fluffy on top. There was absolutely NO strange smell when we removed the plastic. The instructions were very clear. Ideally, we would have let the mattress expand for 72 hours, but that just wasn't doable for us. We started sleeping on it after allowing it to expand for about 30 hours. We measured the height of the mattress and it was the full 14 inches. Like in the three bears scenario, this one is 'just right.' It's affordable, comfortable, supportive, and assembled in the USA.

Great mattress so far there’s No smell. Had hard time getting upstairs because heavy. But it’s solid bed not flimsy. Take time in unpacking does come out kinda fast. The size is queen and its perfect shape. It is very comfortable so far. I will update after had it for little while.

My husband wanted a super firm bed and the reviews on this looked good so we decided to try it out. It came sooner than expected, and within a day had completely reached full-size. There was a slight offgassing smell, but not too bad. The quality seems really high, and I like how firm and supportive it is while also still having a quilted top. I like the firm side walls and it seems extremely comfortable, especially for my husband who needed more support. It was easy to unwrap and seems really high-quality and a great price.
