So far, I like it! Got my dad a 4-inch topper a few years ago. It added too much height to the bed and was too squishy. This is a better one and good at 3-inches. It is also offered at a 4-inch but the "firm side" is still only 1-inch on the 3-inch and the 4-inch model. I think the 1-to-2 ratio on the 3-inch makes more sense. I'm using the "firm side" up but you can also use the softer side up. I like the firmness and chose this topper because there is a firm side. But it's not too firm. Just enough to give some support. I slept well the very first night. Has straps to hold in place, however, still moves just a bit if you consistently enter/exit on one side of the bed. Other review correct that it's cut a tad large. But all in all, I like. Price is competitive, too.

After reading many reviews, I purchased this topper for a new mattress that I recently purchased (from Amazon). Although the mattress is comfortable, I wanted a memory foam topper that was firm. I let the topper air out for 3 days (72 hours) and I flipped it over to the “extra firm” side the first night. I woke up with body aches and flipped it back to the “firm” side. Night 2, a bit more comfortable but still FIRM! I’m hoping that it will break in over a few weeks and become softer and more comfortable over time. THIS IS A VERY FIRM MATTRESS TOPPER!

My memory foam mattress felt soft and sagging a bit after 5 years. I thought about getting a new mattress but didn't feel like spending $500 at the minute. After reading a lot of reviews, I decided to purchase this topper and I am so glad I did. The topper rolled out and after 24 hours had expanded to 3" so I was ready to give it a try. No regrets! After a couple weeks I can definitely say that my sleep is much better, my back ache is gone. And by the way, I did not notice any odor as was reported at some of the reviews. The topper does extend a little over the mattress but the corner straps keep it easily in place. Overall, an excellent solution to my problem!

I purchased this to put on half of our king size bed as our expensive bed is so uncomfortable to me. It is firm and that is what I was going for. I do not sink down much at all but I find it still soft and does not hurt my body during the night or ache in the morning. I had purchased another one that stated firm but it was super soft and I just sank into it. The covering is very nice and soft. It stays in place as well. I barely move at night now. I do not seem to get over heated and I am at the age that I have night sweats. I highly recommend this mattress topper if you are looking for firmness.
