Finally! A truly Very Firm mattress with no pillow top and didn't smell much at all at unpackaging. I am very overweight side sleeper and this keeps my body in proper alignment. It's a little too firm which is exactly what I wanted. Took a few days to get used to and yes I wake up with a little stiffness but it goes away in just a few minutes as soon as I get moving. And it's much easier to get out of this bed than my 3 year old pillowtop. A pinched nerve makes my thumbs hurt like crazy so pushing myself off the bed in the morning causes pain.
