I've been sleeping on a multilayered very firm foam mattress for about a decade now but gained a fair amount of weight since Covid and needed better sleep support (a/k/a the matress became indented). I also get very hot at night. About a month ago I realized the mattress cover was removable. Not a pretty sight. Anyway, I was able to remove and replace the top three foam layers with the BedStory Memory Foam Mattress Topper. It gained its shape perfectly after about 12 hours and unlike other reviewers, mine fit perfectly over my existing mattress. It is indeed "firm" and I'm sleeping cooler at night.

I bought this for my house guest who has back problems. I was all set to buy a firm bed but ran across this and thought I'd give it a try. He loved it so much, he said he was going to order one also. He is our pet sitter and we want him as happy as possible and this does the trick. The best part is that the dogs are very happy to be well taken care of by a happy pet sitter!

I purchased this mattress topper and put in on top of my old style spring mattress. I am very satisfied with it. The old style spring mattress, although not bad at all, still has pressure points on my back and causes pain over the time. This BedStory 3 inch Firm Memory Foam Mattress has right amount of firmness to support my body and gives no pressure point. I finally can have a good sleep without changing my posture several times during the night. Additionally, replacing the topper is so much more convenient than replacing the whole spring mattress in the future!

It helps some with my back pain, but still does not stay on mattress properly even with the straps. Defeats purpose of purchase... Constant support throughout entire night. And having to readjust and fix and fight it to go back on with sheets etc every day is a pain in the butt
