Okay. This is gonna get good so buckle up. If you’re debating whether or not you should buy this because “oh it’s cheap and thus probably not made well” STOP THAT. Just buy it! My hubby and I moved across the country to be with family and went from an Eastern King memory foam/gel heaven-on-a-platform to a full size innerspring mattress with a laughable egg crate excuse-for-a-topper on it. And I am not small okay? It wasn’t good for either of us. Fast forward to me being a good wife and shopping for beds or toppers. I came across this and said “what the hell, it’s cheap enough, if I hate it I’ll give it away”. No. Sir. First day I got it I unboxed and WATCHED it expand because I was so excited (10/10 do not recommend watching it, it takes forever). It stunk of “fresh foam” but nothing an open window and a lot of determination couldn’t fix. When it was finally at the 3” I made the bed and laid in it to do a word search like the old 26 year old I am, while my husband screamed into his gaming headphones from across the room. Next thing I know, I’m being awoken from the dead to my hubby laughing at me because I’d just asked him to “move the dresser” in an effort to actually ask him to move the duvet off of me because I was like 200 degrees. THAT’S how asleep I was. I couldn’t even say blanket. Loooooong story short, buy the topper. We are still fighting over who gets to nap during the day all alone on it.

Purchased due to high rating and firmness. It's actually more like a 20ish to 18 density vs a 26-33 which one would expect for a medium firm. It also softens significantly more over night for hot sleepers. The foam is nice but I'd suggest you go with this only if you want a medium soft feel. The cover also did slide even with the stays attached. A sheet of the carpet sticky back could fix that. Note pics show 20lbs weight with 2" marked on it so you can see how it says in two weeks of use on a new medium firm mattress. Last picture is of the mattress itself which is medium firm.

We have had a Sleep Number Bed for 15 years and it was great for my fibromyalgia. Recently however I noticed the sleep quality had really gone down. We opened the foam topper zipper and noticed the foam was looking deteriorated. The Sleep Number Store wanted a fortune for another topper! So I looked on Amazon and found a new topper from bedstory. It was lavender infused, ventilated and came with a cover and was very reasonably priced! I ordered it and it arrived lightening fast! I opened it in the spare bedroom to rest and it expanded unbelievably! No nasty smell either. My husband, who has no trouble sleeping, said he would help me get the sleep number foam out and put the bedstory one in the zippered slot. Well, that was at the end of January and my husband is very busy and can sleep sitting up on a rock, so it took me until April to get him help me. This is the best sleep I have had in months! The topper fit into the zipper area on our sleep number perfectly, this high quality topper has made sleep so much better! You can't beat it for the price and quality. Thank you bedstory!

I have had other foam toppers that were a bit like a large sponge that you placed under the mattress pad. This is More like a topper mattress than a mattress topper My 9 inch mattress now measures a full 12 inches. The bottom is made out of a study slip resistant material. The top fabric cover is substantial and attractive. There is a zipper for removal. I chose to continue using my basic mattress pad for protection and an extra layer of soft fabric. Removing a queen sized piece of foam from the included cover for washing is not something that I want to try. The pad rose to full height within a few hours and I did not find the odor offensive. This smell is nothing like the memory foam pads of a few years ago. Be sure to take into consideration the height of your existing mattress when choosing between a two or a three inches. I looked online at toppers for a long time and am glad I bought this one.

Unlike other toppers that reported an oder after opening, there was none with this one. The foam was in a zipper cover and put on like a sheet - edges elastic and just tuck under mattress. Stays in place. I put it on a hard mattress that was uncomfortable and it made it like a new mattress. The foam didn’t take long to expand to it’s fullest and it was 3 inches thick as advertised. I got it with a promo of $50. off, so the price was great too. But It is worth the price for the great performance and comfort.

I had expectations of a luxurious, sink-into-heaven type experience. It definitely was not that. Much firmer than anticipated. Only the very mildest upgrade to my previous sleep system. I weigh 175, and typically sleep alone. On the plus side, very attractive cover with anchors (straps) on all four corners. In retrospect, I just wish that I had ordered a cheaper 2" (rather than 3") that provided more of a "sinking-in" type experience.

I have a 7" memory foam queen mattress and I wanted something to add more height and cushion. My mattress is close to 7" but could be a little short of that. I preferred a 4" topper but decided to give this one a try instead based on the reviews. I've never slept on a matress in my home that comfortable, not even close! It's been amazing thus far but it's only been 2 nights that I've slept on it. It's very soft, but a little firm. I dont sink thru the bed but I definitely feel it provide support while adjusting to how I'm laying. I would highly recommend buying this! I'm not sure how a different mattress would impact the feel compared t I'll my current one but it's been great. I just hope its durable and lasts a very long time.
