I got this from Amazon warehouse for less b/c the packaging was damaged. It arrived newly boxed already expanded, but covered in plastic. It still looked brand new with no dirt or stains in perfect new condition but already expanded and covered in plastic in a large box! The odor went away pretty quick, I put it in front of a fan: it is not a bad odor, smells like clean scent off -gassing. The cover is very nice and the topper looked great. But sleeping on it was difficult as it would not stay flat, the edges curled up like a potato chip, and would not lay flat. I even put another topper on top of it to try and get it to flatten out, and after tossing and turning all night, I took the topper off the next day and the edges on this thing still curved up. The topper was pretty comfortable, but I liked the firm side better; b/c it seemed like the soft side was too soft, and ended up messing with the overall comfort. If the soft side was a bit firmer it would have been better than a combination of too soft and firm put together. But all 4 corners curved up, and when you lay on it the side curved up as well.
