When we built our new house, I ordered this bedframe for our guest bedroom. I wanted a low footboard. This had the country chic look I was looking for. It was easy to assemble. the instructions were easy to follow. It required only basic tools. Guests have reported it is comfortable (but that credit may need to go to the mattress). It provides some storage under it, as I use a long bed skirt to hide the storage containers. It does not get daily use in my home, however. I recommend it.

This Solid Wood Platform Bed Frame by BedsPick, is a great choice for many. With its attractive looks, higher quality, head and footboard and solid stance, this is a worthy consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and a few things to consider before buying. I. Quality – This frame looks and feels like it’s a well-made frame that has a sturdy construction, made out of good quality wood. Some people especially like the use of rubberwood, because it comes from a more sustainable plantation tree, versus cutting down the forest. I’d put this one in the high upper-middle level of the quality scale for bed frames and guess it’ll last me a long time. II. Assemble – Its fairly easy as far as bed frames go, but slightly more involved than the more basic ones. Everything was conveniently labeled and the instructions were straightforward. It’s lighter weight for a wood bedframe at 24 pounds. III. Performance – This frame feels very solid and doesn’t make any noise when moved around. The head and footboard are great to hold the mattress in place. The design looks great in person, provides elegance, feels like it’ll hold up, with a bit of farmhouse look to it. The 12.2 inches of space underneath is nice to have, because I like to store stuff underneath. This is also going to affect the height of the mattress, which will put a single mattress higher like I prefer. The wood slates under the mattress do a good job of providing support thus removing the need for a box spring. I feel like this frame gave me a good value proposition. Overall, I’m very happy with this frame and what it provides. It’s been very sturdy, made with quality wood, doesn’t make any noise and looks great while doing it. It’s definitely steps above any normal metal bed frame, that’ll give you a rock solid base for you to build a sleeping surface on. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

Assembly was straightforward, and all parts were clearly labeled. Once built, the frame felt sturdy with no creaks or wobbling. The headboard and footboard give it a nice finished look. I love that it doesn't require a box spring and provides good under-bed storage. The light gray color fits well with most decor. A solid, quiet, and stylish platform bed.

Our last bed frame was similar in style to this one but barely lasted a year before the frame gave out. So when this came up I figured, being partial to wood anyway, we would have better luck with a full wood frame. From the get go it is already so much more sturdy than its metal counterpart ever was. -It came in extremely well packaged and everything was in perfect shape. -Everything was accounted for, nothing was missing. -The instructions were not terrible. I could have used better views on some parts. Although it looks like they subscribe to the camp of “Let's use as little paper as possible to print the instructions on.” They literally fit it on one double sided piece of paper. I mean It is not very complex, but again some additional spots would have benefited from close ups. -The materials are all of great sturdy quality. No chips, cracks or any defects could be found. -The way they did the mattress supports was very helpful and made placing/spacing them so much easier. If you need/want extra support you can add more boards in between these, which we did. One of the first things to go on our last set where these supports so we used the extra from the old one. -Once together it is extremely solid. -It is a bit higher than our last one, but I had wanted that for more convenient storage. I had tried not having things under the bed but they make it there anyway so I might as well have it large enough to organize. So far it is holding up very well and has withstood where the others have failed.

It weights about 23.9 pounds and everything included in the box was there when opening I would recommend this to any who is looking for a new bed
