This shelf is working great for my son in his dorm. We actually purchased two for him. It works great for him to charge his phone and another one for his fan. Highly recommended this for kids in a dorm where space is very limited.

This is our 2nd Shelfie, the 1st one is still in use and has worked great. I got the Original Shelfie as an X-mas gift for my daughter a few years ago, and we love it. She's heading off to college, so I figured it was time for a new one and saw this larger one with the cup holder. It made sense since it has more surface area to suit a college students needs and the cup holder is a definite bonus. I didn't read the details about the material, so when it arrived and was plastic, unlike the original one, which is wood, I was a little disappointed. So it definitely feels a little cheaper based on that alone, although I'm sure it is sturdy and will be easy to clean. While a little disappointed, I've gotten over it and am focusing on the utilitarian reasons we got it. I'm sure she will get a lot of use out of it. ... show more
