I bought this for my son’s dorm room and I never thought I’d be praising a bedside shelf, but here I am. It’s well-made, easy to mount, and not overpriced for what it is. He now has somewhere to put his water bottle, phone, tablet, a book (wishful thinking), or whatever else he wants. It’s far better than worrying about him knocking things off or rolling on top of while he’s sleeping. And, of course, it’s way more convenient than climbing up and down his ladder to retrieve items. I also have to note that because his bed is high lofted, the shelf is not in the way so he’s not constantly having to walk around/avoid it. Great buy! ... show more

Had over a year now and it works wonderfully. Holds quite a bit of weight for its size. I love the drink holder and phone holder. I put a basket on top filled with all things I’d need. This is a very great purchase to make, especially for dorm needs.

Great shelf for our metal loft bed. Big enough for what needed holding (a book, water bottle, couple small items) Latched on securely. I wish it had a bottom plate to cover up the screws since that is all you can see looking up and it’s not very attractive. We placed it off to the side making it not as noticeable. ... show more

The shelf if were sturdy when attached to the bedside. Compared a larger one, it doesn't really move at all even when applying pressure. It is very basic but is is easy to put on the side just slide on the top and twist the two screw thing to tighten against the bed.
