If you like sleeping in a valley sort of, or some sort of big cushion where it collapses all around you and it's exceedingly hot then this is the mattress topper for you. It sinks down anywhere you lie on it, and kid you not, even with the air conditioning going, it just gets hotter and hotter all night long until you wonder if you put a heating pad on your bed instead of this supposedly cooling mattress topper that is also supposed to be memory foam. Yes, it remembers you slept there, and this time that's a bad thing because for the rest of the night, you'll struggle to sleep well as you find yourself being surrounded by air filled pillow. I simply cannot NOT recommend this enough. You do not want it. That I assure you of. UPDATE While the mattress topper was not all that great, the company themselves were amazing! When reported to them that we were unhappy with the quality of the product they worked to make it right! That's all-star customer service there! Honestly, this might work for someone who likes a softer cushion-like bed, but for us, it just was not our cup of tea. Thank you to this company for showing us that there are still companies out there willing to ensure their customers are happy. I highly recommend this just on this alone! Make sure to purchase the correct size otherwise you’ll have to spend $30 + to return as the mattress topper will not fit in the original box. Dislike that I had to purchase a box for $32.59 in order to return. The next mattress I repurchased is still not a perfect fit. On the good not it is very comfortable. I had to purchase a set of pillows to match the comfort of the mattress topper. I have no problem with the scent. I really don’t know what others are talking about. Used on a very firm pillow top mattress. Wonderful fit and no more stiff back, neck or shoulders . Knee and hip pain gone. Added just enough cushion to provide a restful sleep and a refreshed body.Let it air for 3 days prior to use. Would recommend for a bed that’s too firm!

So we did exactly as the instructions told us and then some. We let it sit out to inflate for more then 2 days it did get thicker but like half an inch off from 3. It's still sturdy and very comfortable took our hard bed to a nice bed. Decent purchase!

I get the sensation of fall when repositioning my body at night. It’s been three weeks and that feeling hasn’t come away. Otherwise it’s fine, dropped one star for disturbing my sleep! I wanted a refund but I can’t haul this thing anywhere. It’s too big and bulky for an old lady.
