I can’t explain the smell but it’s one of the best smelling shampoos/conditioners I’ve ever used and I’m obsessed. I get compliments about the smell of my hair days after washing it. It makes my hair feel healthy and full. The bottles are huge. Great price and value. I had these on my Christmas list last year! First off, this shampoo and conditioner set has done what it said it would do. Shocker, I know. My poor bleached and cotton swab like stringy hair has received a new life. After just a few weeks of this my hair is stronger, softer, shinier, and it's nice and lightweight with zero residue leftover. My only complaint with the set is the scent. It's sickeningly sweet. I have tried what feels like hundreds of shampoos and conditioners, spent hundreds of dollars on expensive products, but nothing and I mean NOTHING compares to this shampoo and conditioner! I had a bleaching disaster and ended up literally melting my hair off my head (not all of it thank goodness) but I needed something to help “fix” the rest of my mid-back length hair.
