My children's school had a fundraising gala with an 80's theme and I was determined to have tight voluminous curls for the event! After realizing my 1" curling iron wasn't going to achieve that look, I ordered this, not wanting to spend a lot of money for something I wasn't sure I'd ever use again. My sweet 14 year old daughter spent an hour & a half curling all my long, thick hair and it was so fun! Well, not the curling for her, but the way it looked!! ; ) My hair does not hold curl well at all and it was still super curly the next day. I brushed it out the second day and it looked like a glamourous country singer sort of style, so I got two fun days of hair out of it! I love this curler. I immediately tried it once it arrived and not only didn’t it take me long but I also received so many amazing compliments for my hair! I love how fast they curl and that you can even make a beach wavy look with this tool if you just don’t wrap your hair around the heated part too tight. Also love the viby yellow handle. I was looking for a curling wand to help me extend the life of my curls. I initially purchased the Hot tools micro curling iron but the curl was much smaller then my natural curl. I was going to buy the 1/2 but the hot tools curling iron is $50 and I wasn’t looking to spend a lot again. I came across this curling wand and I figured I’d give it a shot and I’m sure glad I did! It’s exactly what I needed! It makes the perfect curls to match my curl pattern Pros: Heats up quickly. Comes with a great heat protecting glove. I also love the added feature of this velcro loop on the cord that allows you to fold up the cord and secure it with the wand. Most people don’t know by wrapping the cord around your styling tools can eventually ruin the cord and make the tool unusable! Con: The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is there isn’t a tempature setting on the curling wand. Althought I almost always use my curling wands at the highest setting, for those of you who have very thin or damaged hair you should limit the amount of heat you put on your hair.. Remember that viral video of the little girl curling her hair and when she pulled the tool away from her head and the hair was still attached to the curling wand? That’s my worst nightmare! Be sure to know your hair and never leave it on the hot barrel for to long. Otherwise, it’s a great product and for only $27 it’s completely worth it! ... show more

This is a cute chopstick curler that really packs a punch. I love the Bed Head curlers because they last so long. I am still using one that I got years ago in high school. This one surprised me because I thought it would be a bit awkward to use, but it was quite easy! Wear the glove for sure if you are worried about burning your fingers, but I found that I didn't need the glove because the curling iron was so easy to hold. There’s only an option to turn it on or off and it heats up really quick, I burned some of my hair and it fell. So I highly warn you buying a heat protectant before using this product. Besides that, great product it makes beautiful curls my hair can hold the curls for 3 days but I always do a quick touch up in between those days.     • Great Tight Curls, but Not Easy to Use
The item gets hot, but not so hot your hair burns off. There is no temp setting, but that was not an issue. My issue is the wand style. This was my fist wand curler and I gave it a great shot, but nothing compares to having the clamp an old-fashioned curler offers you. Despite the heat resistant glove, I burned myself a lot on this. Also, I'm not able to get a full strand curled as I have to let the end go to avoid burning myself. This means the whole strand has beautiful curl except for the last inch to 1/2 inch... that just looks weird. No thanks. I'll be donating mine. ... show more
