Everything came packaged very nicely I was surprised. All the pieces came plastic wrapped together with foam spacers wedged between them in perfect condition. The instructions are straightforward you don’t need any additional tools to put the bed together it comes with everything it needs, however I used a drill to make it quicker took me about 30 mins to set up. I have a very nice experience yall mattress. So tall that it comes up a little pass the midway of the headboard and once I ad pillows you can’t even see it. My only gripe is wishing the headboard was taller. Other than that the bed is super sturdy and best of all quiet. I had metal bed frames that creek and squeak this one doesn’t. I’m a 450lb man with an extremely heavy mattress and I sleep great on this bed.

This bed is excellent quality, beautiful color, easy to assemble with 2 people and no noise.y only complaint is the space between the bottom of the headboard and where the mattress lays is to high allowing the mattress to slip in the space. We also bought a queen bed just like this one and same problem. I have a 12 inch memory foam mattress so any shorter and it really would be a terrible problem.

One of the crossbars is not cut square by the factory. As in the edge is cut at like a 15 degree angle. Therefore I cannot screw frame together flush. This makes the entire frame crooked. So I can’t finish assembling. Because it makes another crossbar too short. It’s impossible to return this thing without an armored truck. Now I’m having to pay someone out of my pocket to re-cut the crossbar. Also the head- and footboards are not smooth wood. There are tons of plastic screw coverings. Don’t order this.

I purchased the king frame. On each leg there is padding that helps grip the tile floor and prevents sliding. The frame feels very sturdy and no squeaking. (I will revisit the squeakiness in a few months). Although there are parts of the assembly that would benefit an extra set of hands, it was easy to follow the pictures and do it myself. You will need an Alan (hex) key, the one provided is tiny and all screws require this tool. The only downside is that it would be helpful if the screws were numbered. It requires a little bit of trial and error to identify which screw to use. Ultimately, I am VERY satisfied with this frame. I’ll follow up and let you all know how it holds up with adult activities.
