This thermostat has been installed in my BMW X5 e53 for about a week, and it appears to be working as intended. The Beck/Aenley I replaced lasted 12 years and the only reason why I replaced it was as a matter of course along with the pump and o-rings.

I have a 2006 BMW X5 4.4L and it fit perfectly. It installed easily and appears to be great quality. The same brand and part number sell at my local parts store for twice the price so I bought from Amazon. I am very happy with this item.
