This took is very sturdy, easy to hold, lightweight yet strong. If it's really getting a workout, sometimes the metal portion comes out of the handle, but I prefer that and simply popping it back in vs a tool that snaps under pressure.

I bought this to use for scraping the poop off the roost in my chicken house. The weight and length of this hoe makes it very easy to handle for such a job. My only recommendation would be to have a bit more of an “edge” on the blade, making it a bit sharper for my purpose of using it, but it is perfect as is, if using it for gardening. This is the best tool I have ever bought. The short handle actually makes this tool very easy to use as it can be maneuvered into small spaces. I’ve used this hoe for all garden applications and also for mixing cement. Love it!
