great product, if you are here you know that already. fed ex managed to loose these the first go around and said they delivered them even though they did not. i reached out to Tom and team at beavertail and without missing a beat they filed the claim with fed ex and they dealt with them so i did not have to. they had another set sent to me in 2 weeks. would def recommend. great fit and finish, great welds. thanks again beavertail for comming thru. ... show more

These are a great prefab option to bolt on your boat. The Beavertail pods have 2 options for install. One being bolt on and the other welded. I went with welded to give a solid platform and no holes to seal. After repowering to a heavy 4 stroke I needed a bit of lift in the rear and these made a huge difference. I haven’t found any issues or major loss in agility. It hops up on plane quickly and helps keep the motor higher allowing to run in some skinny water. It also added a platform to ease entry into the boat from the rear. They are heavy duty and made to last. The instructions were well written and the sizing and mounting dimensions were very accurate. ... show more

I put these pods on my Grizzly tracker 1860 90/65 jet drive and it was a game changer! I run shallow rocky water with confidence now. I did however cut out the back of the pods to contour them to my transom because I didn’t want any gaps or filler pieces which is a lot more work but ultimately I am super happy with them and my boat performance is incredible! The provided about 5” of lift to back of my boat and I can run in 3” of water at full speed. ... show more

I have a alweld center console with a 4 stroke Yamaha 115 the boat listed bad in the rear (the motor was the biggest advised) find a good welder to install them there worth every dime
