These headphones are my new favorite thing ever. Got them as a gift to myself. So worth it. Battery life is incredible. Only need to charge fully like once a week, and I go to the gym daily. Incredible sound quality - but I expect nothing less from Beats. Color is super vibrant and absolutely cute. Can't hear a thing with them on except my music, unless its playing low, then I can hear other people talking - which is good for when I'm at the gym with others, I dont have to pull it off my ear to hear them. Can wear them for a few hours, but I can say they make my ears sore after that. But I'm not pressed about that really.

This is a 4.8/5 for me. Solid feel on the head, slightly more snug than I’d prefer but I’m going to assume that it will slowly get better with usage (no points off there). The only qualm I have is the audio cable that it comes with (this is replacing the cable-only Beats headphones that appears to have stopped being produced, I’m an MP3 player person when it comes to music). The audio cable suppresses the bass by a noticeable amount if you care about sound quality. Wish I didn’t have to get a 3rd party cable to get around this, but it feels good knowing that the headphones themselves produce awesome sound quality.

I see the black Friday deal is the same amount I paid in March. It’s very deceptive when companies do this, and label it as a “Black Friday deal” making you think you’re getting a good price. Anyway. I like these a lot. The battery life is super long and the sound is really good. They do a good job at muting outside noise and they fold up quite small. The biggest issue I have is comfort. They are not the most comfortable headphones. After sitting on your ears for 20 or so minutes, I find myself adjusting them. After 30-40 minutes my ears start to hurt. I can see discomfort after an extended amount of time, but I wouldn’t expect to feel discomfort after less than an hour. I know they have an option that fits over the ear, and I would probably opt for that one if I’m ever in the market again. I don’t know if they are worth the price. I haven’t tried other brands, but they were very easy to set up on my phone, and they connect right away when turned on. Overall I really like these a lot, aside from the discomfort and misleading “sale” price.

I particularly like the option to connect via a headphone jack instead of only using wireless. The cord is included in addition to the charging cable all tucked away in the headphone case. I grabbed the Beats Solo 4 for my daughter for Christmas and these absolutely stole the show. The look, the sound, the whole package just hit. As soon as she put them on, that was it. Instant favorite gift. They’re lightweight and comfortable, and the battery life is no joke. Not having to constantly charge them is a big win. The sound quality is strong and clear, with solid bass without being muddy. Only downside? She wears them in the car now and completely zones out during our car karaoke sessions. I guess I created my own competition. If you’re looking for a gift that will seriously impress, these did the job. Christmas victory secured.
