I have had this robot for a few months now and it has spent over 100 hours cleaning my pool, so I wanted to share my experience. I have to say, this works better than I feared. I was worried that it wouldn't have enough "power" to do a decent job cleaning or result in a short battery life. I do have things that I wish were different, but overall, I am glad I bought it and I am happy with it. Pros: Seems to do a good job cleaning the pool in general. The app has good functionality- including different cleaning modes and the remote control to get it to come to the side when it is at the surface. The battery lasts longer than I would have guessed - I set the robot to do a 2 hour cleaning and it uses up less than 40 percent of the charge. When I set to max time cleaning, it can last well over 4 hours. Cons / Areas I wish were different: 1) Our pool has a bench along one side, circle shaped stairs int the corner and also a 2 level small seating / exit stir in the deep end corner - I wish is did a better job getting into the "corners and crevices" - when it climbs the stairs, I don't see the suction / bottom of the unit or the brush really getting everything... and there is some fine dust / debris left on the surface of the bench and the deep end climb out as well as in the corners by the steps. 2) because wifi doesn't work under water (not the fault of this unit, just a fact), there is no app or remote functionality while it is under water. 3) I wish it had a way to customize it more - for example, if it had a general layout of my pool in the app, I would love to give it areas (like the steps and bench) that I could have it focus on. Or, I would love there to be a mode that was high power (shorter battery life, but even higher power vacuum). 4) While it has a good battery life, I really wish that I could leave this in my pool for a week and have it run every other day without needing to be charged. It has a mode that allows it to run every 2 days, but the battery doesn't last a full week... and that isn't the more robust cleaning mode that I wish. I was a little nervous to spend this much money on a wireless robotic cleaner - my worry was that it wouldn't do a good enough job (it would have low power because it is battery powered) or that the battery would not last long enough for the robot to give our pool a good cleaning. But, I am happier than I expected to be. It does a good job cleaning and the battery lasts a long time. It isn't perfect - I really wish is did a better job on the trickier areas where the pool changes levels... and that I could really customize the specific areas where I want the robot to deep clean. Bottom line: I am glad that I bought it and I am a happy customer.

The Beatbot pool sweeper works as described. It is doing a much better job than our aged Polaris was. The internal filter basket on the Beatbox is equipped with a much finer screen material allowing the unit to pick up sand and other small particles. The Polaris primarily picked up leaves and debris. We typically run it every three days which in our case keeps the pool clean. As an added benefit we no longer have the Polaris and its hose permanently in the pool when we swim and are consuming much less energy now that we are not running the auxiliary pump and have less fixed equipment to maintain. The advertised weight of 27 pounds is easy enough for me to handle, but it does weigh a little more when removing it from the pool until the water drains out. I typically set it on the side, remove and clean the filter basket and then store it in the charging stand so it is ready for the next event. My wife has back problems so in her case stooping down to retrieve it from the pool is problematic. The only other downside is that it does not clean the stairs very well. I still gave it 5 stars based on how well it does everything else. Overall, I would and have recommend this to a friend, especially when facing constant repairs to aging infrastructure or a failed auxiliary pump.

We purchased this at the start of the season and couldn’t be happier. The Beatbot works wonderfully, keeping our 18x38 pool spotless. Its durability, long battery life and dual baskets pick up everything, from large debris to the tiniest particles. The grandkids are thrilled there are no more dead spiders at the bottom of the pool. It climbs walls effortlessly and doesn’t miss a spot. Our old robot had a cord that constantly needed untangling, but this cordless one is so much more convenient. I just drop it in, and when it’s finished, it parks itself in the corner for easy retrieval. I also appreciate being able to dispense clarifier while it cleans to leave our water crystal clear. The app loses its wireless connection when the Beatbot is submerged, but I haven’t noticed any loss in functionality. A cover to shield it from the sun and dust would be a great addition.

Love that it skims the surface of the water. It does a great job on the floors and walls especially where water surface meets the wall. It is heavy and carried from pool edge to electric outlet where it fits well into it's stand for charging. I don't understand it's patterns on the floor, wall, or water surface. I hate that it doesn't do any stairs/steps. Love the two basket/screen clean up is easy with a garden hose and gets small debris and dog hair. It cannot be my solo vacuum for my pool. It is good about returning to where you put it in the water. Operates for many hours before needing to recharge.

Yes it’s expensive. Yes it has bugs like WiFi not working when it’s under water. But it’s cleans the pool like no other vacuum I have had. I went through 3 Aipers different models. 3 exchanges of Seagull Pro and this Beatbot is so much better! I have a Dome return in the deep end and the Aiper would always get stuck the Beatbot does not so much easier I can just throw it in and forget it. Set up was easy. My only complaint is when you access the debris basket the handle gets really nasty with whatever you collect. But that is a design issue. Other than that everything else is great! Update a year in and the water sensor went bad so it would not start a cleaning cycle because it did not know it was in the pool. They sent me a label and I sent the unit back. Big tip do not throw away the shipping box! Customer service was great as you would expect from a 2k pool vacuum company. I am only concerned that it only lasted a year?! I have no complaints the vacuum works perfectly! Never gets stuck and does a great job of cleaning the pool. Let’s see how the new one does after a year?

THE Worst pool vacuum we have ever owned. The machine runs all over the bottom of the pool but picks up nothing. It doesn’t pick up leaves. It doesn’t pick up dirt. In fact it has nothing in the basket when it’s removed from the pool. We’ve had our pool for 11 years and have used a pentair cleaner exclusively. It was great for cleaning the bottom and the walls. But this year my wife wanted a new cleaner that would do the bottom, the walls and skim the top. We did our due diligence and settled on this machine. We’ve used it repeatedly for two months and we are extremely unsatisfied. We’ve spoken to quality control and they have closed our complaint without examining the machine, offering any relevant advice or offering to issue a replacement. We have sent them photos of the pool after running the machine. But nothing has happened. Amazon hasn’t helped because it’s now beyond the authorized date to return the machine. So bottom line, I would never buy this machine.

This pool cleaner is fabulous and easy to get in and out of the pool. BUT it's heavy and may not work for everyone. (My husband and I can remove it from the pool - but my tween kids cannot). I love that it is cordless! It just floats on the top of the pool when it is done and I get an alert on my phone. The filter baskets are AMAZING. The baskets literally pick up my dog’s hair! I highly recommend spending the money on this cleaner - you will not regret it. Customer service is also A+++++!!!! Shipping is fast and it also comes with one pool cartridge clarifier that be used while the Beatbot is cleaning.

It does a great job. I sis a lot of research and I was hesitant to spend $2k+ on a pool robot but after a few weeks it has held up nicely. It removed problem areas the infloor cleaner couldn’t reach and does a good job on the walls. I don’t need to do much more with the pool than add chemicals. Really impressed with the coverage, I don’t see any missed spots. The app is easy to use and easy to set up the robot. Also the filter is easy to clean. I really don’t have anything bad to say about this robot! Lastly, we have a larger pool and the battery life works great and it’s a fast recharge.
