Great for FESTIVALS and CAMPING! Recently purchased and took this handy blanket to a camping music festival and it proved to be incredibly useful and versatile. Light weight and easily folds or stuffs into its carrying pouch (not one of those "never will fit back in after the first time you take it out" situations). Great for folding out on the ground for a place to sit (comfortably big enough for 2-3 people) and is made from a waterproof material that seems fairly dirt-proof as well, this means you don't necessarily need to worry about finding a perfectly dry spot and don't need to worry about it picking up dirt and moisture when you pick it back up to stuff it back in its pouch. This blanket also did a great job of keeping me warm when the temperature dropped at night! Can be wrapped around the shoulders or waist and does a good job of keeping in your body heat (big enough for two people to share standing side-by-side). Also useful to throw in the bottom of an uninsulated hammock to keep your backside warm.. you know what I mean if you have one out on a cold night. Finally - really useful holding over your head to shield you from either rain (waterproof) or sun (if you forgot your sunscreen). Definitely a 5-star camping/festival companion. Ultra lightweight and stuffs down into a small size to fit well either inside a daypack or clipped onto the outside. I gave it a solid five days of heavy use and it still looks brand new.

This can be a good portable cover for average person who does not go on rough terrain frequently, or do not spend too much time hiking or camping in primitive wilderness,,, from my point of view, if this cover is $15 dollars more expensive than a regular tarp,,, would be Fair to add a few more inches on each side, for cover to be used as a quick temporary tent when hiking,,, or makeshift umbrella under a hot Sun,,, or to catch more Rain Water if necessary when camping , , also, with a few minor adjustments, can be used as a Rain Poncho, , , Gave this cover 4 Stars because chemical smell was too strong, when took it out shipping box,,, had to let it air out for nearly 10 days before using it, , , this Bearz outdoor company would benefit greatly, if they listen to this review and start making a few more improvements on this cover, , ,

Took this little gem to Bourbon and Beyond in Louisville last weekend. It fit easily into my small clear bag and was large enough for four adult butts to sit on. Spilled a beer on it and it easily wiped off! Easy to fold back up and put in its carry pouch!

I bought this in red so it would stand out and easily be seen at a festival-its 90% of the most non-descript grey with red trim-oh well its seems well made and it is light weight and I ve already took it out of the little pack and folded it up and put it back easily. Still wish it was all bright red tho.

Used this blanket over a weekend music festival with my son. It's small enough I could manage it by myself but large enough for both of us comfortably. It was windy, though, so it would blow up at the edges a lot because it is so lightweight. It has loops for stakes (and pockets for sand), so I bought some stakes so that we will be ready for the wind next time. Great outdoor blanket.
