I usually wear a 7.5 in shoes and an 8 in boots. I ordered an 8 in Mushroom, which is a light dove gray. I tried the boots on without socks and the fit is comfortable. I can imagine wearing socks, but the fluffy shearling inside fills in nicely. It's a very cozy feel, and yet not a sweaty warmth. I am pleasantly surprised. I was willing to give them a try and send them back for the more expensive brand if I didn't like the BearPaw version. I really can't imagine that the other brand has any more value to offer. I love the soft pretty gray color too, neutral enough to wear with almost anything. I also have bought BearPaw hiking boots this Spring and found them to be a superior product (they replaced a nearly non-destructible pair of HiTeks I had used for over a decade.) I will buy BearPaw designs again. Good price and great quality.

These Bear Paw boots are very nice. They are well made and have real Shepa lining like UGGs. As a matter of fact, they are comparable with the pair of short UGGs I have had for many years. I really like the olive color, it is very subtle, an olive drab color, not bright. I have been wearing them for a week or so now and they are comfortable. I tend to have a wider foot and I have plenty of room in these to move my feet around without binding or rubbing anywhere. If you wear heavy boot socks, these may be too snug on a wider foot but who needs heavy boot socks with these toasty lined boots? ;) I find they fit very true to size with no need to size up. I think I will be buying the Bear Paw cleaning and waterproofing kit that is also available here on Amazon so they do not get water stains. I've always wanted purple boots that were cute and comfortable. These are great. Suede is pretty and color is beautiful. I went up a size to allow for an orthotic insole and the fit is terrific. The fact that the boots are water resistant is Bearpaws plus.

I owned a pair of Bearpaw boots this color and love to hem. I wanted something a little shorter and apparently not ankle length ( long story). These fit perfectly, I always wear two pairs of songs with my Bearpaws and chose to do the same with these boots. My feet are warm toasty (usually cold & frosty), and very comfortable and not scrunched up at all. I have a very narrow foot and this is one of the reasons why I wear two pairs of socks. These were the perfect length for what I was looking for. I was actually hoping for a lighter gray, but I couldn't find it anywhere. If you show size falls into half size, go up a size: I'm a 8 1/2 and ordered a 9. Like I said perfect fit for me. I sprayed them with water repellent just before going out into the snow we and slush, DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

I used to buy Uggs, and they used to be the best cold blockers and last a long time... but when their quality tanked and their prices soared, I tried Bearpaws this time. I will never go back! These are thick and made to last. I do wish the fluff on the footbed was more substantial, I can already tell that will be next to nothing in a short period of time, but the wool on the inner shaft is thicker than current Uggs and thinner than older Uggs. The only complaint I have is how wide the shaft is!!! Holy moly, I could fit two of my legs in. I did not order wide, so I assume this is standard unless ordering off of Amazon instead of from Bearpaw ended up with an older version or a knockoff. Who knows, but for now, they are warm, well made, and perfect other than the unneccesarily and a bit comically wide shaft.

I just recently received my boots. I love them and I can't wait to try them in the cold weather! They came just right in time for the start of the Fall/Autumn season. The color that I ordered was true to the picture posted. As what I read in the reviews and what I expected, they are so comfy and soft! This coming winter season will be my first winter experience here in the US and I can feel that they will keep my feet warm since the lining are thick enough. My husband told me that the soles are great since they are made of rubber and they are flexible as well. I have been comparing these with the Ugg boots since that's I think the most popular brand but looking at the prices of those, made me think twice buying them so I ended up looking for another brand and upon comparison of the two, they are mostly the same, but for a cheaper price. For the size, I usually buy 5 1/2 (yes, I'm that small lol) but I opted for the 6 since I have read that you have to order the next full size so I did and they just fit right. They are still somehow tight, well because they are still new, but I believe after a few times, they will loosen up a bit since the fur will most likely compress due to walking. To conclude, I am really happy with my purchase! These are my first boots and I'm glad that I was able to get them for $54.80 (original price posted in bearpaw.com is $79.99)! I will try to update this review once winter season comes especially when it gets really really cold in here.

I purchased these boots a year ago, and they still have l the firm fit they had when I purchased them. I have 4 pairs in different styles & colors, which I have purchased over the last few years, and I am very pleased with the way they have held up. I wear them every day from October-March, and they still look and feel brand new! My left leg and foot have nerve damage from a fusion back surgery, & the circulation is very poor, therefore, the leg & foot are always cold. I can wear these boots with or without socks, and they still keep my leg and foot warm all day, without “sweating .” These highly compare to the pricey alternatives. I highly recommend them for price and quality. Enjoy!
