(Note: the fabric is removable / machine-washable, in case of stains). The chair & footstool are covered in plush fabric which is incredibly soft. Like a lot of other furniture ordered online, when it arrived, it was fully compressed, but as soon as I cut open the exterior packaging, it popped open like a can of biscuits and fluffed up within minutes of unpacking. I was a little worried initially about the memory foam filling (fearing it would lose its shape), but thus far, it's held up. I got this as an affordable alternative to the viral reading chair. It's very cute, sturdy, comfortable and worth the money. It's very thick high quality foam and you don't sink into it and it provides the perfect amount of support. I did add some throw pillow for lumbar support. I love that it has a foot rest. I got my chair yesterday and I am obsessed. It's so cozy and the ottoman is the perfect height. It's got a super soft feel and is the perfect reading seat. I took it out of the package and it poped right into shape. Took about 12-24 hours tp inflate property since it was vaccum sealed. This is a cute chair that I added to my room to sit on when I want to look out the window or read my book! The color looks more like a light gray than green. However it’s still pretty. Product is amazing. Heavy and so comfortable. Shipping it on the other hand took a very long time. Stated 2 days delivered I got it a week late. Not the worst thing but I needed it for my dog with arthritis that cannot climb. But it’s here now and I am very pleased with the product.
