My wife bought this Beachwaver B1 in the "Pink Sunset" color as a gift for our granddaughter, and let me tell you, it was an absolute hit. I don't pretend to know a whole lot about hair tools myself, but seeing how much she loves using it—and how nice her hair looks when she visits—makes it an easy 5 stars in my book. According to our granddaughter, the automatic rotating feature is a total game changer. She used to spend forever doing her hair with a regular curling wand, but this 1-inch ceramic barrel speeds up the process and gives her those perfect, effortless-looking beach waves that are so popular right now. As for the quality, it feels incredibly sturdy and well-made. The Pink Sunset color is also really vibrant and cute in person; she was thrilled the second she pulled it out of the box. If there is a minor downside to mention, she did tell us there was a slight learning curve right out of the gate. Because it has left and right rotation buttons, it took her a couple of tries to keep from accidentally spinning the hair the wrong way or pressing a button by mistake. However, after about ten minutes of practicing, she got the hang of it completely. It is also a bit of an investment compared to standard curling irons, but given the time it saves her and how often she reaches for it, the value is definitely there. If you're on the fence about getting this as a gift for a teenager or young adult in your life, I can honestly say it's a winner. Hope this helps anyone looking for a great gift!

This curler is so good. Bought this for my daughter and she loves it and it is a giant curler which is good for longer hair. She loves the automatic turning feature on it. It’s quite pricey but it is worth it!

I have very fine hair . I have tried every popular,curling iron . I bought the one that my hair dresser recommended and it sits unused as it was sub par with not the result i wanted. From high end to iconic drug store varieties. Nothing worked as my hair is very fine and simply will not hold a curl all day . I had a previous beach waver that had worked just as well ,but lasted only 2 years . The company was great and sent me another and that worked beautifully. Until it broke . I chose a more simple model based on the reviews . I have very long hair almost touching my waist. I use a good volume mouse on wet hair after washing ( careful to not overdo the conditioner) Blow dry then apply a texture spray. Then section and curl . Allow to cool off and use a WORKING hair spray . Not a stiff hair spray if you intend to comb through it or loosely run fingers through hair after it cools . If the humidity is lower ( in winter) You will have a good curl all day ending In an even more flattering wave. In summer it is still some what of a challenge. But I still have better results than the 11 highly tested top of the line curling irons as I do with the beach waver . I got the pink/ lavender one and it is do pretty . It makes me so happy to finally achieve a good result. UPDATE: I no longer use this . have gone back to using my Dyson air wrap to curl hair . Though the curls are not as pronounced as well as have less lasting effect. It is gentler on the hair . Even if the beach waver is on the lowest setting it is to damaging to fine , bleached/ highlighted hair . Perhaps to use this sparingly for special occasions only , but not on a regular basis if you want to keep your once long hair . Now in a journey to heal and regrow my hair . Live and learn .

This iron was a gift for my daughter, she loves it. She likes that all she needs to do is press a button and it winds the hair around itself. I bought it for her almost a year ago and the iron still works like the she received it, though she doesn't use it all the time, so there's that. It gets good and hot, there are heat settings. It's an overpriced curling iron but she was thrilled so I'm happy, though I would not spend that much on an iron again.

You get what you pay for! I’ve had this iron for a half hour and I quickly curled my fine hair on the low setting. Curl never stays in my hair… Until now. I have purchased knock offs and other similar curlers from drugstore brands and they last 3- 6 months before they don’t heat up as well or unevenly. This is very well made and it feels very sturdy and durable. Arrived quickly and I love the glitter red! This is my hair after trying to brush out the curl. With previous irons, one brushing and the curl was gone.

The rotating barrel takes all the guesswork out of curling, and I was able to get smooth, bouncy curls in a fraction of the time it normally takes. The 1-inch barrel creates beautiful beachy waves that last all day, and I love that it has multiple heat settings and an auto shut-off feature for peace of mind. Definitely worth it if you want salon-looking curls without the learning curve!

I got the beachwaver 5.1.25 based upon the videos I saw on TT. For $99.00 it expected for it to curl my hair. I tried everything. I downloaded the instructions, which are easy to understand. It took me 3 times to get the hang of it. So it’s not hard to operate. I used heat protection and used a round brush to dry my hair which is below my shoulders and is thick, not that that matters as it says “”it works on thin, regular and thick hair”” It heats up quick which is the only good thing. Whippie-Do-Da! I then sectioned my hair. I didn’t use a lot of hair. Well it decided not to curl my hair! $99.00 and this thing did not work no matter what I did. I watched a lot of videos and every single one the beachwaver curled their hair perfectly. So I thought I’d give it a try. It’s the same size as my regular curling iron. There’s not one reason why it didn’t work. I never got a curl, just a tiny wave that you can hardly see. How come it curled the ladies hair in all the videos I watched and not mine remains a mystery. So I got out my curling iron and had beautiful curls. My hair doesn’t have a problem holding a curl, it has to be this thing. I’m returning it of course. If you are thinking of buying one (to save time) don’t do it. I know it’s not defected. And theirs nothing wrong with my hair. I don’t know what voodoo they used in those videos but for me it was very frustrating. I wanted to warn others about what happened to me. Thank you for reading my 💯 % honest review.
