We love these bags! They were perfect for our beach trip. They are plenty big enough to hold a lot of shells and allowed the sand to sift out the holes. My kids were able to collect shells for a week in these bags with no issues.

These are perfect size for shell collecting on the beach, not to small and not to big either. These are well made, and will hold quite a lot of shells, I love that the mesh bag lets you see what is inside, holding even the smallest shells while letting the sand sift out. The straps look pretty sturdy as does the stitching, they are easily adjustable, and I think will work great for my 3- and 6-year-old granddaughters as well as for me. I bought one package to see how well I like them. I'm ordering another set for me nieces. These are perfect for shells, but I am not sure they would hold up to filling full of rocks or really heavy items. They would work for small rocks. I mention this because I know my granddaughters and nieces are big rock, shell, everything collectors and I could see them stuffing them full of river rocks when camping.
