Our 4 year old daughter loves her new outdoor picnic table. She is fairly tall for her age so I do think she might outgrow this in another year or so. We put kinetic sand inside and she plays hours with it outside and love that it can double as a table for her to have lunch or a snack. The umbrella isn't very sturdy but it does a good job of keeping the sun from her face while playing. This table is fantastic. It was super easy to put together (basically comes put together, just have to assemble the legs) and it is such a cute little table. We live in hot and sunny Arizona and this table is withstanding our 110+ degree days, intense sun and it sits near our pool so it gets splashed a lot. It's pretty dang durable. The children love to be able to open the table and do sensory activities or close it and use it as a picnic table or art table. We purchased this for our 2yo and he loves it. My 8yo also thinks this is great. It's sturdy for kids around toddler ages. The size is perfect for our toddler, and is easy for him to get on and off of the bench. The umbrella is a great addition to this, I just wish you were able to adjust the umbrella to block put sun at different times of the day. I read tons of reviews about this table and waited for many months of watching the price move around before committing to buying it. It was packaged well and a breeze to assemble. The wood does appear to be unfinished, so I coated it in polyurethane to help protect it. Our 21 mo old and his friends have had quite a bit of fun playing with the tubs in the middle of the table, both with sand and also just filled with water. The umbrella is so cute and some much needed shade for these summer days. It seems very sturdy, which is great because we hope to use it for years to come. ... show more

I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter. Fits her perfectly. It is roomy enough for 4. We have it setup on the covered porch so the removable umbrella we are using to shade her little swimming pool . Very well made . I would of given it a 5 star but the wood needed several coats of clear paint to preserve it . That was easy to do and will give it a longer life and keep it from staining. We are currently using the bins one for sand and the other for her sand toys .She can play there by herself for an extended amount of time . We are very happy with this purchase. ... show more

The material is quality and it is so simple to put together. Drill not necessary, but made it so much faster to put together. My advice is to find possibly a different container than the one that comes with it if you plan on keeping a sand and water in it. It would be nice if the containers came with lids so I could snap it on easily for the evening especially the sand water can be dumped everyday. I would also recommend using kinetic Sand as it's less messy. It also doubles perfectly for the picnic table. I've also seen umbrellas like the one it comes with at 5 Below, so when this one finally bites the dust you can easily replace it. ... show more

I was afraid my son was going to get splinters from the wood but it’s actually pretty great quality wood. I would add varnish to it though if keeping it outside. The table has gotten wet a few times from the sprinklers and is starting to get water stains. Other than that it’s a pretty awesome table.
