The great grandkids are really enjoying their turtle sandbox! Great quality and easy to put together.

    • Great sandbox!
Color: Multicolor Size: Onesize
Great size! My 3 yr old nephew loved it. Took a bit to assemble but seems sturdy with sand in it. Lid fits well and is tethered to the base.

    • Do not purchase this product!!
Color: Multicolor Size: Onesize
If you remember how awesome the turtle sandbox was from when you were a kid do NOT purchase this product! The bottom portion is now not a single unit but rather 4 flimsy pieces that are supposed to snap together. This product is extremely difficult to put together and is so low quality that I would not trust it to hold the weight of a small child sitting on the edge. Do NOT purchase this product, instead track down an old one at a yard sale! ... show more

    • Good sandbox
Color: Multicolor Size: Onesize
Kid loves it. Needs two 50 lb bags of sand. The little latch on the head of the turtle does not keep the lid in place so I just use two bricks to keep the lid on. Also. Is not one solid piece. It’s four interlocking pieces that form the sandbox. I only bring it up because the old turtle sandboxes used to be one giant piece. ... show more

    • Material not the thickest
Color: Multicolor Size: Onesize
Not the 90’s version but decent. I was expecting it to be a little thicker material, got for Easter for my children and filled it full of stuff. Lid doesn’t stay on the best, very light and easy to move if it doesn’t have sand in it.

    • Pleased with Turtle Sandbox
Color: Multicolor Size: Onesize
We ordered the sandbox as a Christmas gift for our 3 year old and he loves it! My husband put it together inside to place under the tree. He had no problem with the assembly and it was easy to transport outside also. It isn’t real big, but we live in a rural area and the well fitting shell that covers and protects it, along with the price makes it a good choice! It holds three 5 lb bags of play sand. We haven’t had it long enough to find out if there will be a problem with water retention. ... show more

    • Higher price, lower quality than before
Color: Multicolor Size: Onesize
It’s ok for the price I paid on sale. You have to puzzle the pieces together which turned out to be a fun activity but a bit time consuming due to bad construction. The pieces will not stay connected properly. When you connect one all the way, another will pop out. Since it has several points at which it connects and screws holding pieces in place, it stays together but sand will seep slowly out of the bottom and the turtle does not lay flat. It’s a slow seep, not too bad but definitely not the quality the turtle sandboxes used to be, at a much higher price point, with more work and time to put up. Steps back in value on all fronts. How disappointing. ... show more

    • Good
Color: Multicolor Size: Onesize
It is small (ish) but perfect for my 1.5 year old. Got a 50lbs bag of sand and that worked well. Would recommend getting sand from hardware store as it only cost 5$ and Amazon sand was much more pricey
